I rarely do bars anymore. I meet a lot of people at the gym and other social events like local football games, bowling, etc...

Hopefully this won't get pulled and I don't know if they have them in Canada but there is a social group you can find online Kitty called MeetIn.Org. it's not specifically for dating but just going and hanging out with others. They might have a chapter in your city and it's free. Check it out.

Well you are in a fairly good size city aren't you Kitty? Take up a hobby that is coed. Volunteer in a place where there is bound to be men you get to perks out of it helping others and a chance of meeting someone great.

That's too bad about the gym. I haven't sex a sex specific gym in a long time.

You can always try to network through a volunteer organization. You'll meet some interesting people that way (maybe) I know I have made good friends over the years thru places like that.

SE wind blowing harsh this morning...woke me up early......need a caffeine hit......

for answer, over here at least....

coffee shops....

voluntary org. such as the SPCA...they are always understafffed...

and even if I myself have never yet attended, CS locals tend to organize get togethers ever so often...

but the best place to say hi to people still remains the shopping malls up in town...
