OKay, just discovered this thread and figured I might as well weigh in :). Im my humble opinion, I think everyone who has access to a digital camera ( and a lot of folks do these days ) should post a pic of themselves. Let's face it, a lot of people wouldn't buy a car, sight unseen. Who is willing to reply to someone's ad without seeing what they look like? Why not save everyone some time? I admit, I am honest ( brutally so sometimes and sometimes to my own detriment ) and am willing to say looks count. In fact, looks are usually what makes you want to go across the room ( or wherever ) to strike up a conversation and see where it leads. Now, mind you I am not one of those guys looking for a supermodel ( I am a little more realistic than that and realize I am not exactly Tom Selleck myself :). ) but, without some sort of spark in the physical attraction dept. I don't think there is much chance of anything other than friends. Just my two cents, your mileage may vary :).

Its not that peaple does not want their photos on here. But some peaple does not have a cam. But to really look at it. If you are looking bfor a relationship. Then looks is not everything in one anyway right????

Because they are probably as ugly as you and are afraid to post and scare the hell out of everyone.

The Picture thing is preferance-ego-fear- and choice...
Lets all get it straight. People have been dating for year's without a picture. And Car's have been bought site un-seen a good many times. Other peoples words coming from someone they know,is highly acceptable... Preferance for me was i look better in person.End of story!...There is no picture i can see of you out there that will tell me a thing about you. Yet,write just a few words and just how you voice yourself,i can tell you more about you than what your picture ever said.Those who need a picture aren't sure of anything and scared of everything!... Myself,i like mystery-fate and a happy surprise!" If i get the other than oh well; i am not comitted to remain and i am quite capabe on how to "exit" at any time.

I think people don't put their pics up is because maybe they are afraid of being rejected, or they have before and have been hurt in some way. just a thought.

Personally, I think they are scared, that someone somewhere will recognize them, and there goes their balloon, albeit family, friends,or the ex- To those folks that seek integrity,honor,truth,commitment...Stick a picture on,and show us that which you are so afraid to show.Integrity...............or reword your descriptive to something more in tune with " Mysteriously, alluring,lurking,deceitful and afraid of who you truly are. So, you may exit at anytime.......thats my 2 cents Rug

most people do not have a picture cause they do not want you to know the outside,but they want you to take the time to get to know the person on the inside

they know looks does not matter and they want to find someone who knows that,they want to be taken as the person they are and not for what they look like

they want people to see the person they are on the inside or not the person they are on the outside,you want to know what they look like talk to them

through their words you will know what they look like,at the same time you will know what kind of person they are on the inside
