How can you take 3 beautiful words like, I LOVE YOU, and
inflict such pain with them? I say I love you to many
people and that is how it is meant.
But when I say, I LOVE YOU, to my mate it is spoken
differently and has a complete different meaning.
I received news from a friend last night that me ex is
now re-married. I thought I had put him out of my life,
but when I heard that, it was like a lightning bolt
went straight to my heart. We have only been apart 5
months. How can the words, I LOVE YOU, mean so little
to people anymore?

I am sorry you are in pain. It must have been a shock to hear your ex was remarried so soon.

It has to be the most used phrase except for greetings in any language. Even though it may be overused sometimes, I believe it is still very special. I think your ex will always have love in his heart for you, but he has moved on.

I don't know, Sassy. It takes me time to say those words. And five months is a very short time for such a move, but...well, to each their own.

Thank you MB, I know you have been through it also. He was
chatting with this lady on POF before I was even out of the
house and yet I wanted to stay. So glad I am where I am
but the pain remains.

Sadly there are those who follow "I love You" with those other 3 words ..."no, I don't". I just don't understand it myself,

5 months isn't enough time to get your head straightened back out.
