Doubt a lot of people would be up and about....just gone ten past nine a.m. on this end of the planet....

yawn

so....it's a glorious sunny day this New Year's day....seems the elements decided to smile at us today...it's a good start...the beach down the valley looks like a pond.....peaceful.....

Even the sparrow seem to be more cheerful....

The fireworks around the world were huge...if you would like to see them you may do so here:

Happy New Year, gozo

I am visiting in Germany and the fireworks were amazing.

Going to make my first coffee this year.

Up early, give me a few drinks and I am up again after 4 hours sleep. 2009 doesn't look too bad from here.cheering

wave yep up by 9am !!! head not tooo bad and half way down my second cup of tea. Was a nice evening spent it with friends from work, came home just after i saw the New Year in, must be getting old!!blues

I had shorts on to day but then again, it could very well freeze tomorrow. Oh well, it will go back to shorts weather in a few days.

Can't imagine myself booging til four or five in the morning like I used to for fifteen odds years......

Yes, I had a lovely evening, it was not too messy, beautiful dinner, great company, a couple of bottles of fizz and seeing the New Year in in another country...

Cream is fine.
