Who will start it? Who will finish it? Who do YOU think will win this Pyhrric victory? Who do you think will win the final battle to make losers of us all? Will the victors retreat to underground bunkers or colonize Mars and ask for a do-over for another arms race? Will humans ever evolve? Will they leave this planet as a dead rock hurtling through space and time for all of eternity?
