"I just want to sit down, and shut down. Not move, not breathe, not do anything else."
Myself, being a 'nam vet, know that intense feeling very well pubwrite, and it means your son is on his toes, doing what needs to be done. I will bet, if you look real hard, you will find your intensity in him, and the fact you did not, do not rest, until all your responsibilities for those you love, and protect, is completed. Do not feel bad that, "everybody else sees a soldier," because we should all view each other has soldiers in the ranks of Americans working, and fighting, together, for our family of Americans, their protections, and opportunities. We cannot all pick, and choose, how we will be called on at any given moment, but of our choices be able to confront whatever is thrown at us, and come out victorious of our choices. Then we can rest, but at all times with open eyes.
My prayers are with you, and Charles, as they have always been for every American making responsible choices for our families.
