It has been just reported by RAI news that the French national news agency has issued a report stating that after EU intervention, under the personal initiative of French president Sarkosi, has resulted in Hamas accepting to comply to a truce, under certain conditions that have still to be made public.

The only truce will be when Israel ends the occupation ,evrything else will be just temporary.

Conrad the facade of Hamas is not supposed to win. Merely to instigate the world into a war where the Israelis are to blame. If Hamas had any consideration for the Palestinians they would abort there pathetic reasoning and confront Israel in the open. The deaths they cause in the region are just good ratings for there hatred. As long as the Middle East supports Hamas there will be death of innocents. They really do not care who dies so long as there unifying message gets out. They seek the complete destruction of a nation and all of its people and they will not stop likely even if Hamas is erased. A new head will rise with a new name and perpetrate the same horrors upon some other unsuspecting population.

I think that Israel is dictating the terms. The key is some international military organization to be inside Gaza watching Hamas.

Hey worked in Southern Lebanon.....with Hezbollah as the French began to watch them.
