mastic55: Most are after New Years,,lol, feel better real soon.

Well, that ain't why since I'm as far from a party animal as they come. Just a lot to deal with lately. And hopefully things will look up soon. After all, it's the first day of a brand new year!

Hey, maybe you know the answer to this, since I'm being so curious today......

How come a thread would be locked and replies can't be left?

Someone made a complaint or the monitor feels the thread breaks the forums rules.

I've noticed that after the mods lock a thread that sometimes you can still reply to it......doh

DoznEggs: What does it mean when in a thread you see only the poster's "name" and location in the left hand column. There is no photo or inviso photo.

Curious... Is this something one can do themselves, or is this something that is done by the mods?

Pardon me for using your thread to ask other questions, but: Is it possible to be logged in, in order to read and post on the forums only, but not be 'online now' as it were, for those looking for singles to mingle with? Just a question.

Well, since I don't have computer access at home I use my cell phone to get on this site. I can read the forums, read my mail but I cannot reply to anything. And I'm not logged in when I am reading the forums either, just for my mail. Hope this helps ya Imm. hug

Not a problem.....

And I believe I know the answer as well as Merky....

In order to reply to any forums you have to actually sign into CS. You don't have to sign in to CS to peruse the forums and just sort of "look around" so to speak.

Good to meet you Immanuelle!

Thanks!

Well I think I better say gnite

And I'll leave you and all these other new friends with one more question......

How do you double quote in a reply? I've seen it done where two different people were quoted, but I am clueless as to how it's done.

Thank you all!

Easy! Just format what you want to show as a quote with:

[ quote= whomever you want to quote ] then add the text and "close" the the quote with [ / quote ]

(I put spaces in to show you the characters.) When you do it right, it comes out like this:
whomeveryouwantoquote: then add the text and "close" the the quote with

Hope that helps. thumbs up
