Diamond,I wonder if our photo ratings are accurate ? For instance I have viewed ratings for many people and some scores are lower than I think they should be.

I hardly look at my photo ratings. Don't get me wrong, I think it's amazing there are people who go to the trouble to look at and then rate someone else's photo. Personally, I hold no weight to them.

Sorry, Hugz, I did read your post about self esteem, but there is a phenomenon called "Extremeness responding". What that refers to, is that with some people, if asked to rate on a rating scale eg 1-10, they will inevitably tend to rate either a '1' or a '10', and nothing in between, regardless of what they are rating. I actually did research in this area. Darn it, wish I didn't know about it

I don't think so everyone's idea of what they find attractive is different, some are hooked on having there photos rated so give a high rating them mail the person and ask them to rate thetr photo in return, kinda sad really.

I suppose it is down to the person receiving the ratings. I do not pay any attention to my ratings. All I need to know is that my photos are accurate.

Just leave it switched on - it doesn't do any harm - except it might damage your ego!

Just filter out, coz some of them are serious!
