This is a free choice of a person's likes and dislikes. To have a preference is only a matter of preference and not a slight to anyone unless that person makes it one. So as to not offend those who are over sensitive, I leave all choices on my profile as open as possible. This is done as an act of kindness to those who would find offence. But I have preferences the same as anyone. But they are only based on my personal likes and dislikes.

To look for a truck to buy, is not a slight to car makers. I need the features of a truck for my business. I buy a blue truck only because I like to look at the color blue,it is no slight to other 256 million other colors. But it does not mean under the right situation that I would not buy a yellow motorcycle.

The same is true of a woman. I would rather find a woman that looks like a horse in the face, that has the right personality, than a beauty queen who is a bitch. No offence to cows intended in this post.

Nope, I like rough rugged looking men. From where I stand they come in all colors. It ain't never the race, it is what you want in a person. If I found exactly what I wanted in a mate he could be purple...

I believe that everybody should be free to like and dislike, date and reject dates, love and not loving whoever without any difference of race, age religion and political ideals.
It means that I disagree with your intention of choosing the ethnicity you want to end up and not the person but I think you have to be and feel absolutely free to do the way you consider the most appropriate one for you.

I hate racism , I daily fight against any form of racism but there are also not typical ways of being racist.

The day I can say f...black to a coloured man without being considerate racist is the day when the racism will definitevely be defeated. If I say f...white I am not considered racist why should I if I say f...black??? The word F should be criticised and not black or white or yellow or pink and green...

And also ,a woman wrote in this thread a few posts ago that she was not sure if considering racist a man who stated not to like black women.
What about then all those women who require ONLY black men? Are they also racist against we poor whites?

I think that we are all the same, we should all be considered as individual and not judged from the colour of our skin...

It is "shallow"..........you never know who's going to sweep you off your feet. Sad to those who specifically choose that criteria.

Whatever works for you is right. To deny someone anything in the public sector is wrong. But you know what works for you, personally. So go for that thing that pleases you.

you know what, for me it isn't even about race because i'm black but there are certain types of blacks that i would never ever date. there are blacks from certain countries i refuse to date because their beliefs are not western and i simply cannot be devalued. men from certain black countries view women as "property" and less than a man. that's not my thing. there's a certain type of white men that i would never date, i mean it's not about the color of skin. for me it's about compatibility.

I have tried to leave it so that all whom are interested are free to contact me. I feel, it is a matter of compatiblity, respect and understanding between to people not race.

Granted there are ideas and beliefs I could never adhere to. So for the gentlemen that would be a problem for, far better to agree to disagree and look else where.
