I had the same problem...crying it was good stainless with teflon (QVC) crying Now they are making it green to fool another bunch of hardworking folks.

But good stainless steel....it will last! If you deglaze and wash it.....no trouble! If something sticks...just place it in the sink underwater.....come back in a bit and wash it out. You will be so happy......forever!

My mother has some that she has had for 38 years! It's still going strong and looks great! Don't buy cheap stuff! (dollar store) Buy at least some 18/10 the thicker the better. If you buy a set of 304 stainless w/aluminium encased bases. It WILL last a lifetime.

Then show off your cookware to the women around and you will be married in a week!rolling on the floor laughing

All teflon is sucker bait! Go to yard sales and look at all the great lifetime teflon cookwares that have turn to trash.

If you have bought a stainless steel teflon piece.....get it sand blasted.....then you will have a good Stainless.

What is the dailey amount of teflon you should eat to be healthy each day!confused

and if it gets that thick coating around the bottom. You can build a camp fire, put your cast iron in the fire in the coals. it will burn all the years of carbon and stuff off and it will be like new. Just mix salt and oil and scurb it all over to season it before you put it away. cast iron...thumbs up
