I am admittedly pretty quiet in person, although personality and humor would be the same. Same for intellect or lack thereof.

Good to see you too...well I guess when ya put it that way...maybe shy isn't right term...definitely quiet....but if the person is just as outgoing and talkative as me...I feel much more comfortable and can talk till cows come home...the one thing I am not good at...even on here and never have been is small talk...I am subject oriented....thus I am not a big phone talker if it's just for small talk...but get me on a subject and I can and will converse for hours.....

I never saw you ignoring someone saying something odd about you here or simply interpreting your eexpressed idea in a wrong way. You wouldn't let that pass...
In real life, if you hear that someone said bla, bla about you in a party for everyone to hear, you might ignore better.

Offline, all work and no play has made Rico a dull man who ignores flirting and teasing and doesn't like women who are mean-spirited. Which is to say most of them.

I think I might be just a tad different in person, possibly not as outspoken, and definitely don't "talk" about sex as much....I'd much rather be "doing"...lol

Writing it out does give you a chance to think first....also, if you're upset, the other person doesn't see your shaking from the anger...or the tears from the hurt.....which in real life would be good things because then they'd have a clue to your feelings.

My sense of humor may come through the same since I will put "lol" or at the points where I'd be laughing if we were in person.

I have shared some personal stuff on here, and I do share that in person. The only difference is, in person you may see me hesitate at times while I'm collecting myself, or hear the disappointment & hurt in my voice.

In face to face situations, I do too...

But I rarely come across many people in real life who come out and say things, especially in social situations, we tend to get on.

Here, I do get out, simply because some people are incapable of having a decent discussion.

And I like nice good discussions, as has been shown in this thread. It can be done with respect even when people disagree, sadly some people cannot deal with that.

I am so honest in person it scares the hell out of people and they run. If it looks like BS (in real life), I will say it is BS. I don't do that to harm anyone, I do it because a wonderful man and a few others did for me. It allowed me to change. I can assure all, I have been places in life they would dare not go.

So many are "looking" for love, I AM loved.
So many are looking for another to complete them, I AM complete, a whole entity.
So many are looking for their better half,I want an equal.

I has been "MY" experience, people are afraid to face problems. They find it easier to cut and run. Personally, that has been a VERY expensive experience for me.

Long ago, a very dear friend told me that if you really want to find out who/what someone is, share a roof with them.

I understand totally, it is hard to actually answer the question.

I keep fluctuating backand forth in my head about whether I am different or not, because I see that sometimes I am, and sometimes I am not.

I have not posted much about my life, not the real hard stuff, only those closest to me know that, so I can see why the hurt in your voice would be heard. And here is a good place to write it out so you can read it back to yourself and help you to come to terms with it...

So again, you have put a different spin on things.
