There was a time when rational thought was and would be appreciated, but when it comes to Israel and the Palestinians it seems history has been forgotten, somehow the Jews with the resources, the military backing and the propaganda behind them forgot that the Allied countries gave them the land after world war one.

To say this has caused an enormous problem with the deportation of the Arabs that were already there was a recipe for disaster.

If you were part of a family that somehow managed to avoid having someone blown to smithereens by artillery or cut in half with a machine gun for queen and country, then the chances are you were in the ruling elite anyway.

So with this in mind it's easy to explain the mentality that if we don't even matter to the powers that be, Arabs meant even less to them, and their was nothing having with a patch of desert out their anyway( to coin a phrase).

When you have Jewish American officials running the peace process like say Henry Kissinger, or Madeleine Albright what on earth the chances are for a positive outcome that would appear balanced for both parties. I'd say Zero was a fair guess.
