At the total risk of getting my head chopped off:

Great thread, good points were made and it was discussed without mudslinging and petty comments. Really enjoyed following it. How does one end a good thread discussion graciously though? When all have aired their views and only begin to repeat themselves, should it not be put to rest? I think that is when a cool topic thread goes the way of casual exchanges (which is also fine), hugs, hellos and shout outs.

Just my opinion.

I think that all we´re saying is be respectful of the conversation, if someone has something to add to the topic then by all means do so... but don´t destroy a conversation by turning it into their own little mutual admiration society... there are plenty of other threads to do that. If the topic being discussed isn´t something that they want to discuss then why are they in the thread?

I understand what you´re saying... but this is an international forum and everyone is on a different time zone... it´s a bummer when you sign in and read 7 pages of a thread and have something good to contribute only to find that you´ve posted into the middle of a three page love you session...laugh frustrated

In response to: How do you keep your sanity in here..you are all very nice

How is that possible, do you not get bored with the threads that go on and on with hug and kiss and all that shi*e.

Do you not have moments where you want to put your hand through the screen and drag that person out and slap a bit of sense into them?

Or is it just me who has days where I want to trottle someone when I read such drivel on some of the threads

wave Hello there

Not one in here will chop your head off, thats one of the points of the thread, to be able to voice an opinion without uncalled for censorship.
I have no idea what so ever as to how this thread will pan out, for it will change with each contribution, as it does with life, we live and learn, have discussions that sometimes get heated, but hopefully with this one will end with laughter.

And if you put hugs in here you will be shot at dawnboxing Or if that teddy bear arrives in here, he will be stuck ethe sun dont shinetongue

livinglarge: well ok Jan thanks for explaining ,
however why are you in the International Forum,
compairing and contrasting ?

Don't mean to be difficult but , shouldn't that be taken to private ??

But I´m not comparing or contrasting. I made an observation within the context of the topic of this thread, which is what doesn´t happen in general, and what we are discussing here.

Don´t take this as a personal slight on anybody here, it is not. I don´t insult people in private or public.....well except my ex husband!

Which is what makes for an interesting conversation! I have a good group of friends, but we all think so much alike about issues that conversations are all agreements... I come on here to hear other points of view and hopefully have some good information exchanges.

That is true I didn't expect it but have really found a lot of women on this forum that I have come to respect and for each of them they look at life through a bit different angle than I do so it helps even when I don't quite see where someone else is coming from or if they maybe point something out to me. It's all learning and I frankly as a loner most of my life am on here to "play nice" with others and develop better social skills.thumbs up
