It's too bad. The players are the reason the serious singles go through this dating mess with a thick coat of armor.

To complicate matters, the ripoff dating service industry probably hopes we don't eventually figure it out and do something like buy one of the zillion vacant store fronts and turn it into a club "for serious singles only"... pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, said the Wizard to Dorothy.

I agree. This site is truly only to enjoy the Forums/Threads. I would be amazed if I met someone on here. Lots of scammers on CS.

I have a friend who lived with his girlfriend of 3 years, and was getting ready to buy her a ring. He did something stupid, and because of that is temporarily suspended from his field, so he had to take a lesser-paying job. Suddenly, she's gone, she's now with an ex-boyfriend of hers who just divorced his wife and said he knew better about this gal...and told my friend she never loved him and was just using him. Three years together, FFS.

So...the scammers are everywhere, they're really bad on the pay sites that don't have all of the warnings, and not just here on CS.

And to all, let me ask: if you're real on here, do you think everyone else is fake in the forums? Many of us are real. It's finding that right real person that's difficult, but it is possible. I'll never stop believing that this is one of the best places to do so because of the forums. Just proceed cautiously and take your time...and know that it's all a risk that's part of life. Love is always a risk...but if we don't take it, we're already dead.

I'll wait until I die to be dead. While I'm alive, I'll live, and risk, and hurt, and do it all again.

I don't think most of the people are fakes. I do believe that another site I use has more local people (ladies) and the odds are better over there. The potential for a match is other there. The potential for interesting Threads are here.

That is so true, it hard to tell who is who. But some aren't very bright. Like one here that had Blue eyes in her profile and was using a picture of a Brown eyed woman for her picture.

Then her picture got pulled. So now she changed her eye color in her profile to Brown. It's halarious, she thinks we are too stupid to not notice that.
