I believe many people are able to forgive and move on from a situation like this. Some people can find in their heart to allow a person an error in the relationship.

Some people can't forgive and move on and that is okay too.

I think what is important is what the two of you wish to do. Does she want a committed relationship with just you? Can you gain trust back into her? If you aren't able to accept her, move on! JMO

Perhaps, we are overlooking a very important question ---

Why did she cheat?

I have always believed that when two people argue - there are three sides to the story -- your version, my version, and (somewhere in the middle) the truth.

The answer to the question "why did she cheat?" may help to answer the question of whether or not a second attempt is worth the effort ---
