In my profile it states, DO NOT IM ME UNLESS YOU EMAIL ME FIRST....and yet I still get IM's are people just that stupid????frustrated frustrated frustrated

Yep, they do that with me, too. But I have my IM turned off. Hate the thing! It still lets you know who tries to IM you. I have used it only rarely and with purpose.

Stupid? Who knows, but they are the ones wasting their time, right?

The scammers and idiots don't read. The rest do...the good ones. Wait for them, and ignore the rest.

I have my IM turned off, too. I haven't checked my IM requests lately...it's a waste of my time. laugh

I think 90% of the emails/ flowers etc I have gotten are from people who have no clue what my profile says!!help

Go to 'EDIT', then go to "Edit Settings". Click on 'No', against IM being on or off.
