I have seen one ghost in my lifetime. It is funny that you bring up this thread, I was thinking about starting one myself about this very subject.

I saw what looked to be a human man walking toward me in the hallway of an old apartment where I used to live, a blond, short man. He looked lost and very disoriented. I stopped, turned toward him and asked, "Are you okay? Can I help you with something?" He looked very sad, turned his head and literally walked right into a wall. I screamed and ran to each side of the building, front and back looking for this man who just vanished into thin air, but he was nowhere to be found. A short time thereafter, I talked to the owner of the building (who I knew would not ridicule me because he was always very nice to me) about this incident and he informed me that the exact spot where I watched the man literally walk into and dissolve into the wall, there once was a doorway a long, long time ago!

Oh, and by the way Cosmic, give them hell on the GAza threads. The PR machines of murderers is failing for all the world to see, despite the best efforts of their mercenary army of paid cyber trolls to skew favor on the side of murderers and their apologists.....

THERE ARE OTHER SITES THAT CAN DEAL WITH THAT BETTER.WE DO NOT WISH TO PROVE OR DISPROVE ANYTHING SO LET CONTRIBUTORS PLEASE REFRAIN FROM POLLUTING IT WITH DEBUNKING ARGUMENTS. probably going to think im crazy for saying this i have one that lives in my house an old mate of mine died 2 yrs ago motorbike accident and not long after his death he started visitng me and also in my dreams i havent actually seen him yet but i know i will when exactly dont know. i can feel his spirit when hes around and also he does things to let me know he is here like tv suddenly comes, pictures fall off walls.my fire alarm went off the other day i had only put in new batteries and had no fire of course and no i wasnt cooking either. every time i put guns n roses on to listen to the cd goes to a certain song and refuses to let me play another song until i listen to that song and guess what the song that has to play was his favourite song . ive even had him jump in bed with me one nite i had gone to bed and was laying there couldnt sleep all of a sudden i heard someone snoring next to me i opened my eyes noone was there. his mother and other people i know have had experiences to . even my son has seen things to. neva in my whole life would i have thought this was possible until it started.

forgot to say when i heard he had died and that it was on a motorbike i totally sun out cause when we were younger he siad to me i know how i will die and i said how and he said on a motorbike .how spun out is that he knew. how he was going.

i was kidding, but i have seen one in real life. When i was younger, i am not making this up, i have an older brother and younger sister and we lived in a 2 family house. We shared a room together the 3 of us, i had the bottom bunk and my older brother had the top and my sister was on the other side of the room. One night i was up and i couldn't sleep for some reason. It was pitch black in the room so i turned on a flashlight and next thing i saw was the desk chair spinning around. I jumped under the covers and it felt like someone was touching the top of the covers. It was really frigen weird, i screamed and cried like a little girl, let me remind you i was 8 when this happened. I remember like it was yesterday. Years passed and things kept getting weird in the apartment. I hit 14 and it got too weird, things were moving from one area to another, i went and did some research on our house in the local library. It turns out, the block i lived on, used to be a farm in Whitestone, NY back then, i think it was 1890 or something like that. Well turns out the owners of the farm killed his 2 kids and then himself. Best part about was, our downstairs neighbor kept seeing full body apparitions when he was sleeping, one night he threw a shoe at the apparition and it went right through him. This is 100 percent true. I know i am not crazy, but there are things in life that has no explanation.

I call them spirits instead of ghosts too.

When I was 18 I was with my girlfriend and several friends at my girlfriend's best friend Mary's house.
Mary's mom wasn't home so we had the house to ourselves.

We were all at the dining room table where someone was rolling a sort of little cigarette (our first of the day so that wasn't really a factor).

Something caught my eye and I turned my head towards the hallway and saw a thin middle-aged man standing there glowering back at me.

I nearly fell out of my chair with surprise.
The others asked me what had surprised me so, and I explained.

Mary asked what the man looked like and I explained: thin, short, swarthy complexion but grey and sickly looking, military haircut, horn-rimmed glasses, wearing pajamas....

Mary said, "oh yeah that's my stepdad's ghost, several people have seen him."

She then went to get a photo of her stepdad and it was the same man I had seen. He had died in that house about 5 years before.

That's my one and only ghost story.

Thank God for that.
