my regional is still, somewhat, intact....that was'nt what was knocked out of me.....professor rolling on the floor laughing

Arlene101: I didn't pick that up ' much'. It was too short a conversation I think. I didn't pick it up from Ambrose either. (When Ambrose dropped his friend off at the airport and went and vistd Dana by the way).

Beethovenfan: that is crazy....Their is nothing wrong with a drawl...My daughter in law from New Jersey thought we sounded like hicks in Mo...what ever.....
Now I used to get phone calls from a guy from New Jersey and I found he had a huge accent but nothing like Eric's.
A friend of mine from Boston phones all the time and he has the accent and the attitude.
