I really hate to harp on this....but it seems that people are reading threads then finding a way to ask the same question so they can have a thread of their own. Please be somewhat original, folks. If you want to impress someone of the opposite sex....show them how you use your gray matter.

You bang on all you like, Ship, it is good, and will do people good to read this.

You are absolutely right, I have began a couple of threads that have resulted in good discussions, because of the people that contributed, and I like those, but there has been few good discussions lately.

Credibility is all too good a point, I log in and I am a member, and I sometimes find it hard, so what it must be like to people who are reading with a view to joining I have no idea, only a smattering of an idea.

cant you just ignore the threads that bother you? I am new and I havent seen anything so all the threads are new to me. If people are geetting responses to their post then the threads must have interest from someone you think?

We have a clear out once in a while Amber, helps, New Year and all of that.

But you are right, I think the new format is good for this now, we can ignore the sections that we do not want to respond to.

Because we are a group that has new members all the time...we are likely to duplicate threads. And some threads are good to be repeated after a while. But when the same subject is on the threads over and over ...it looses it's fun and relevance. So it's not wrong or redundant to post something that has already been posted.......just give it a rest for a while.

Ha i have not been around in a wile so i'm not sure what i missed. I did at one time have a book on Zen and there was a quote from a Zen master that comes to mind. I forget the masters name but he said " I can sh*t once and that is enough, i need not discuss all the posibilities". In the threads we may overdiscuss somethings but if a thread has a lot of responces there is no communal need for the thread to be reposted , just personal need.
