Damn people, why another thread about lying??? Didn't we just cover this ad naseum???

This is getting old....read the former threads before you start a new one to see when it was last covered.

Repetitive threads devalue the credibility of this site. Please come up with something interesting, or wait to post until someone else comes up with something interesting.


I understand what your saying but as fast as people come and go. Today is always going to be a new day for someone. It takes some time to figure the site out and feel comfortable for newbies to post. You and others might get sick of the same old thing posted, as I have done at times with all the arguing. But it will be someone else's first time here.
Just try to be patient with new people here to the forum. And if it is the same people doing it over and over...just say fuck it and move on. Just my 2 cents!

nurcnurc: Seems to be rampant on the net! New people to sites don't necessarily see all the old threads, but when a similar one is already current there should be no need for the same one. It's the age old (at least computer age old) problem of joing sites only to find the same topics exist everywhere. To that point the same type of reactions to duplication of threads occurs-someone gets p.o.'d and points it out!
I agree, however, with us newbies we are just trying to join in sometimes. A gentle reminder is often enough.

Now if I can just think of a good topic!

I gave up...now I'm boring myself with apps on myspace rather than boring myself with carbon copied threads...if you don't like the thread, there are other threads. If the site is starting to bore you, there are other sites...

The topic HAS been addressed many times. Its not an opinion....its there when someone does a search.

Youre getting really defensive about something thats not a big deal. comfort

think the point being made is that over the past week (before you were here) there would be up to 3 threads all asking the same question on the first page. Of course you get the same topics come up as new people join, but 3 on the same subject is to much

oh I know. I wasnt arguing I was just saying i dont get why people would be so upset about something they can simply ignore. If this thread upset me I would ignore it I wouldnt make an op and complain about it.
I assume new people come here everyday so the topics arent old to us. Us new people can post in the redundant topics that are new to us and the long timers can ignore the topics and just make intelligent and completely original topics for themselves.
