To generalize about American women like that is ridiculous

Just curious - So are you travelling other countries like Brasil/ Argentina just to get some love tender fix? This is what it looks like.

All men say the same thing from all countries....so nothing new there......

Live to tell the tale aye...bottomline is that your average western women have different values than those from the east or poorer countries. Why not then get yourself one from the latter mentioned...i bet you'll be more appreciated...

At the risk of looking stupid on my part i'll add something.

You can either chose to seek the company of someone and have to pay for it (in which case you know what your getting) or you can live in hope you find someone who will like you for what you are!

Then will luck, and hard work maybe you can build a nice life together!!

Sadly, some people view others as an accessory, something to use and throw away.I don't want to meet anyone like this myself, i found i didn't like being used and having my nature taken advantage of.

If you want to moan about the other sex all the time, your not doing yourself any favours, and it's unlikely to attract anyone towards you, certainly not anyone you'd want to meet anyway.

Travelling and other cultures is really good, and you really appreciate other cultures and food and other peoples customs, beliefs and you might well fins something abroad that you won't at home.

Don't mistake this for sex tourism though, travel as they say broadens the mind and everyone you will meet should be in a good mood just as though they were on holiday!!

That's why holiday romances flourish, but mostly the fizzle under the harsh reality of day to day life as mostly they realise they have nothing in common with the other person after 3 weeks

If i ever marry, and doubt i will for my own reasons because of my past, i think it will be to someone whos very gentle in nature, friendly, funny and supportive.

And people like that exist all over the world, you just have to find one that feels the same way about you.

I couldn't care less what country anyone comes from, their religion, their beliefs, their colour...what i look for is someone who will like me!

Maybe just an idea being opened minded to any possibilities might help anyone meeting anyone rather than putting up barriers and a criteria and a check list for people to measure upto before they will even talk to them!!!

Exactly! I found out that my legal case is going to take another year or 18 months yet, so it looks like i better be qualified before the case is finished so if god forbid a court wants me to sell my home, well i maybe able to hold onto it!

from my experience and concern for you i will say that sadly enough USA is where they all want to be. they start out slow with their responses and then wham you learn they need a greencard, away to get out of their country. need money for travel. foreign men are very romantic, gentlemen, they feel safe in contacting us in the usa cause they don't realy have to commit to anything, everything is their decision. i on the other hand went to ireland for a week courtesy of a friend i met on here. even if it was a meaningless relationship between two complete strangers i will cherish that week for the rest of my life. he asked me for nothing, but on the bad side he offered me nothing. well except the money for the trip.he left me home everynite while he went out. i was do disappointed. he still keeps contact daily and calls at east every two weeks. don't underestimate the possibility of love, it is out there, maybe we just try to hard. i was raised to believe that love will find you. nice to meet you. if he wants to pay again to see me, i will return to visit with a great friend. important if you do go international to meet someone, girls this is especially important for you, provide information to the us embassay and let them know exactly who you are with and where they live. good luck everyone, i hope the sky drops rain drops filled with love and we will be able to catch some of it.

I think it's rather interesting (if not disconcerting) that my nationality has been characterized this way. Amazing that people think all "American women" including some of our own American men even feel this way.

It was funny to begin with, and still is, but I see that some people actually believe "we" (American women) have criteria list such as maids and what not. For crying out loud, the MAJORITY of American women work outside the home because they are a "family" of one. Not to mention that many of us have had to work in order to survive even with the spouse or significant other also working. This means we come home from our jobs, clean our houses, do the laundry, cook the food, care for the children (if any) and do so every day. It takes money to have a home and way of transporting oneself to jobs, grocery stores and the like.

Many women I know would LOVE it if they were housewives and mothers instead of having to do it all. Basic necessities of life require work for pay. Housewife, without husband to provide the work for pay, would not be able to sustain a household or her on existance.

Sheesh you men who complain about a nationality of women should not generalize. You certainly have NO CLUE about the average American woman. You make your observations based on Hollywood, magazines and books and think we are "all" this way. It's like me assuming all Kiwi's are sheep herders, all Irish men are drunks, all British have bad teeth, all Scots were kilts (all the time no less), all Germans are Nazi. Give it a rest. This thread is nothing more than an opportunity to bash. It's been not unlike watching a train wreck....more and more come and look.

My wish for you all (who have bashed) is that you have a better life with someone who makes you happy whether she (or he for you women who have also bashed) is Irish, English, German, French, American, Canadian. Because it all boils down to the basics: what you do, what you like and how you live your life.

Now the reasons foreign women respond more can be varied: some are scammers looking to get money or a free pass to the US, (most people come here to live & not the other way around)....also, they are here because they are looking for love, maybe even desperately seeking love as we don't really know their situation where they live....

Wow its not all about sex is it? I have know and been with ladies from all walks of life. Physically I dont see much difference once you take away shape, skin tone, hair color and so on, so the difference in them to me is mental, spiritual and philosophical... Given that relationships with women (from your won country) in general are something that requires understanding, hard work, self discipline and self sacrifice from both parties. This is when all other things are equal (culture, social values, language etc.)!!!!

Yes ladies from countries other than yours have different ideas, values, and cultural practices. They can be more easily approached in many non Western countries. Sorry but it is true. They are young, attractive, very feminine, appear innocent and they act the traditional role as women and like being woman. Yes I know western women must be seeing blue lights about now but its my observations and I understand you may disagree... I am just making a point not debating one.

Having said all that these are not always a blessing. Many foreign ladies expect things from you that would not even be though about in the US. Where are you going to live and work. Where ever you choose plan on making trips to the others country for visits. Want to support a very large extended family...get ready there is always a need.

You also have a language barrier. If you dont speak their language very well ouch... So much get mixed up in translation. The roles of what a man and woman's responsibilities is different. The sex is great but I would expect that with who ever your with. Sex however doesn't last 24/7 like the reality of living with someone. People from different countries had different expectation... We all want food shelter and clothing but that's just survival. You better be thinking much deeper than you pecker... Religion, philosophy, history, values, cultural expectations, Family values and it goes on and on. I am not saying it cant work but it takes lots of work. More than with a woman from your country... and depending on the individual it may never work... The differences are some times greater than the similarities.

Depending on the country your meeting women in they may have great motivation to get out of there impoverish country and will for a time do what ever it takes to get out. Trust me it happens everyday...

I really liked and enjoyed most of the ladies I have met during my travels. They are great people with wonderful personalities most of the time. We all have our goals and objectives. Finding someone with the same dreams and expectations as yours is difficult. What ever you decide to do, do it with your eyes wide open... If you have traveled around you know this already or should. Fair thee Well... and call me on your next trip...
