Hi Ennaille,

Nope, not at all. I have interest in other cultures and history. I travel to see new places, make new friends and learn new languages. When I was in college, I was an exchange student in Mexico. My observations on behavior are based on many places I have lived and traveled all over Asia and Latin America. I never look for love in another country. I will say that I feel more at home in Latin American cultures and countries as I speak Spanish and a little Portuguese. I value the traditional values that still exist in many of these countries. Sadly, traditional family values have disintegrated in the west! Marriages fall apart, divorce is rampant, babies are butchered in abortion and homosexuality is accepted. I have nothing against people who choose to live alternative lifestyle but marriage really is between a man and a woman.

Yes, true which is why a man should not try to find love online dating sites from foreign mail order brides. Scams are real and bad news bears. My goal is to actually ex-patriate to another country of my choice and live there start a business, make friends and hopefully meet a sweet lady where I can build something wonderful with her in her own country.

After reading carefully all these posted remarks here about american women, it looks like men really have problem with them. I don't know how substantial those claim really are regarding american women but i think if there is some somewhere, there may also be some fire. I hope american women take notices of these claims sometime and ponder over what really went wrong with them, if any.

And I wish to public apologize on the C.S forum to the 'America Ladies' that hold 'Family values' close there hearts...yes...Sommer I do listen....fair call......And I know deep down that I been extremely harsh....

nurcnurc: I think it's rather interesting (if not disconcerting) that my nationality has been characterized this way. Amazing that people think all "American women" including some of our own American men even feel this way.

It was funny to begin with, and still is, but I see that some people actually believe "we" (American women) have criteria list such as maids and what not. For crying out loud, the MAJORITY of American women work outside the home because they are a "family" of one. Not to mention that many of us have had to work in order to survive even with the spouse or significant other also working. This means we come home from our jobs, clean our houses, do the laundry, cook the food, care for the children (if any) and do so every day. It takes money to have a home and way of transporting oneself to jobs, grocery stores and the like.

Many women I know would LOVE it if they were housewives and mothers instead of having to do it all. Basic necessities of life require work for pay. Housewife, without husband to provide the work for pay, would not be able to sustain a household or her on existance.

Sheesh you men who complain about a nationality of women should not generalize. You certainly have NO CLUE about the average American woman. You make your observations based on Hollywood, magazines and books and think we are "all" this way. It's like me assuming all Kiwi's are sheep herders, all Irish men are drunks, all British have bad teeth, all Scots were kilts (all the time no less), all Germans are Nazi. Give it a rest. This thread is nothing more than an opportunity to bash. It's been not unlike watching a train wreck....more and more come and look.

My wish for you all (who have bashed) is that you have a better life with someone who makes you happy whether she (or he for you women who have also bashed) is Irish, English, German, French, American, Canadian. Because it all boils down to the basics: what you do, what you like and how you live your life.



........Hmmmmmmm.....Lady....well written....thank you...and fair call.....laugh out loud, on your comment all 'Kiwis are Sheep herders'.....We have another saying here, but I won't say on the forum .....I will be put in the C.S Jail again....

Ever notice how most American women seem to always have a perma scowl or frown or look neurotic or ticked off angry all the time? When I was in Latin America and Asia, women were mostly smiles and happy ladies.

lol...i am not sure about that but i think they take men as their "conterpart". In other words, they always want to compete with men which may not be healthy all the time. But then again, i think, we men forced them to be like this.

This point was brought quite some time ago (been awhile) , however it's one that I strongly agree with. I'm not saying all American women are mean, however from personal experience (notice I say personal experience and am not presenting this as fact), women from outside the US seem to a lot more gentle and easier to talk too. I would say European women are the easiest and the most calm, Australian women would be next down the row because it seems sometimes as if they have a lot of American women traits as far as attitude, but they aren't quite as bad, Asian women seem to be a little more paranoid so it's hard sometimes to talk to them. American women for the most part (again my personal experience and not fact or stereotyping) are more abrasive. They seem to take things at face value and don't take the time to really look and figure out a person. I have also found Middle Eastern women very easy to talk too as well.

Now don't get me wrong, there are a lot of friendly American women here in the forums and I don't mean to rub them the wrong way, for I was just speaking on personal experience.hug

I don't think it is your profile at all. I think, and this is just my opinion, that there is a lot of confusion on the dating scene. Like I will look at your category and see dating and relating and we'll go out and I will be thinking that you are looking for something that is going to be long term (especially the for better or worse happily ever after, when in fact you might just be looking for booty call. I know this is why I personally have almost given up.

I hope you get better response.

I think European and Latn American women just have a more open attitude toward men in general. A lot of American women have been burned by previous relationships and do kind of "keep their guard up", so to speak. Same for us guys. I know I tend to be very selective in the emails and flowers, etc., that I respond to. Not because I don't like American women, but I guard myself against women who appear to be a little strange or too needy.
I've met some great local women from these sites, and some real lulus, too.
I had a boss who told me, when I was a kid, "If you throw enough shit against the wall, some of it's bound to stick." Same with emails, flowers, etc.. just keep sending them and eventually, you'll have plenty of women responding to you. It's just a law of averages, really. Women receive a whole lot more contacts than we men, and they have to sort through the perverts, married men, posers, losers, scammers, etc. before they find us real guys. Hang in there, OP, you'll be okay.peace

doh Well I don't know if I want shit on my walls but I get the drift... One of the true loves of my life was a lady form Puerto Rico. I would just say they liked being a woman and knew her role well. She was not a submissive woman but was so sexy to me ... Dang I miss her but there were other problems like wanting to live in her country and I had a 8 yr old son who would have been unhappy there because of his looks and so on...moping so I did the responsible thing for him as he was my greater love.hug Now we hardly ever see each other but thas just life ...
