Its the wrong teachings that influence those who hurt.. we could put 10 peole in here, read the same passage of the bible, and get 10 different interpretations on it..bottom line..

from my perspective..there is no such thing as hell, otherwise God would be a God with no understanding of human failures in life and have no compassion for those who need it.JMO

But my thoughts on such matters is that people like that are unable to think clearly and rationally. No amount of 'saving' or talking logically to them, is likely to ever sway them.

I might sound callous, though I am far from it. But I would give such people a wide berth. Some people just need to suffer, one way or another. They enjoy for some odd reason, to be miserable.

venere08: Of-course, this does not apply to young children. I have read the above post. But how an adult explains death, and their own beliefs surrounding that, to young children is a very delicate issue and needs to be handled responsibly by the adult(s).

RillyNiceGuy: Young children need to be protected from concern. I wanted to help those who suffer worrying about loved ones. The facts according to God is different than misguided people are lead to believe. The calling by God is up to God.....calling those at this time to understanding. There is a fair and loving plan by God. Not the cruel way taught by most. In time all will have full understanding of the truth and will have a fair informed choice. Based on that choice at that time (not for all at this time) will they be judged. There is a plan working and most are not taught the truth.

First....a person dead is asleep! The general resurrection has not happen yet. The first resurrection is to be at the return of Christ (all eyes shall see him)(not hidden). So! They sleep until....when? The first resurrection is of those in Christ that are dead and those alive are changed. The second resurrection will be a general resurrection of who.....???

Do you think it is fair for a native who never had a chance to know about Christ to burn for all time. How about those lead astray by wrong teachings or those not called by God the Father at this time. Do you think it is fair for a person to live a short time (less than 120 years) and then to live burning for all time because they never found the better way. Of course not!

So! what is the truth? The second (general)resurrection! The Books (Bible) shall be opened....to who?

I am far from being a person to give knowledge by teaching. I have had much to learn by adversity and hardships. I got lost because of church people of man's churchs, the churchs that dominate the world of religion. But I do care deeply for others and it bothers me to know that some cry daily for lost ones that they believe are tortured in hell fire! I want to relieve that from them if I can. I do not presume to teach, but I will share information that will give them relief that they themselves will find and prove to and for themselves. I will not lead or guide, I will give you information only!

Seraffa: I believe the same thing, basically, and so does the rest of my Church (spread accross the world.) I think the thing we need to keep in mind here is that we can pray for anyone before that all happens. Even if we don't know who they are. God knows much more than we do and His forgiveness and mercy do things that we couldn't even imagine to those who are pure in heart, but basically ignorant. It's the people who KNOW who offend Him that are going to have to answer for all of it.

And if Hell does happen to them? - God willed it - so that we would be in His comfort, His paradise, with no pain, suffering, struggle and conflict as we experience it here on earth. You're worrying about someone who might be in Hell? Pray for them while you're still alive and all the "souls have not been gathered yet", but keep in mind that their influence would certainly have been bad for you if you had been around them for long periods of time while they were doing whatever would gain them a final place in Hell.

The Final Judgment is absolute, and it's meant to permanently separate us from all who didn't want to choose to repent from the soul's spiritual death. No-one in Paradise after the Final Judgment is going to feel any pain any more from the influence of the damned.....because the two won't belong together in any way, shape or form - in any dimension of existance!

( I hope I reach Paradise to experience this!)

buzzy: Would a God of love burn someone for ever for a few sins? Come on! If that is the case, then even the best Christian will burn in hell! Let me ask you this all you Christians who believe in hell fire: Would you hold the hand of your child over an open flame for taking a cookie without permission? "Of course not," you say, that would be cruel punishment. It is stealing. A sin against God. But this is the conduct you will accept from your God? The God of the Hewbrew scriptures was a God of war, hatred, and one who views women as second class citizens. This whole mess in the Middle East, ( if you believe the Bible ) was started thousands of years ago by the God of the Hewbrew scrips. If you really want to get to know the true God, pray.
I think he is best described in the letters of Paul. A kind, gentle God, who is ready to forgive and accept us all.

ALL sins have already been forgiven before you were even born.
Jesus said on the cross; It is finished.
What may bring you in hell is to not accept the free gift of pardon that has been offered to you and all men kind.
Making it so that the sacrifise made for you on the cross was thrown back in God's face, so too speak.
This is called the unpardonable sin.
