somechick: It may be funny and weird but it's better then wasting my time & energy with someone who acts like a know it all.

He used to try to get into arguements with my mom just because she soaked a pan or a baking dish in the sink with baked on food in it.
He once told me when I was married and raising a family that a dishwasher would make my life easier. I replied back to him that if I'd wanted to have had my life to be easier I wouldn't had became a wife and mother.
And to think he went to college. He's never really been exsposed to the real world so to speak and has never been in a relationship but he claims to know everything there is about life.Women of today would eat him alive and spit him out.

Gosh!

You two need a good fight, to conclude this.

Tell the truth, have you ever slapped poor lil' bro?

In my family, they all know how to defend themselves, but it seems they finally accepted who's the boss, now. I'm the youngest of 7 kids, by the way. You don't want to hear me and my twin arguing. One of my sisters, tells us to leave her house, and go argue outside. We normally tell her to shut it.

I admit I like to argue or debate if it's in good fun but sometimes some of the crap that is put on here brings out my feistiness and I just have to open mouth and insert foot.
Must be in my DNA.dunno dancing

He's my older brother and nope I've never slapped him and have had to hold myself back sometimes to keep myself from doing it many many times.rolling on the floor laughing

He lives in Michigan and I now reside in Ohio and I have since cut all ties with him. I just don't need the stress nor the baggage in my life anymore. I love my family to death I just don't wish to be involved with pity parties and made to deal with someone who I can't have an adult and civilized conversation with anymore.

OMG! I hope you two resolve it.

It never gets pysical with my sisters. The last time i argued with my twin, i took a cab straight home. I'd rather be by myself when she upsets me. We were arguing over what one of my other sisters should do with her life, and when i used my twin's cup ( it says :I'm the boss doh), she got pissed off and told me never to touch it agaín. i was like 'WTF?' I left the apartment.giggle

We however, love each other dearly.

Thankyou all. I have read all the replys and you have given me hope, that next time I become involved in a relationship with a woman that I look for one that does not like arguing just to argue. Making your point is quite alright, as long as you don't make it through 6 different points of view. And no I do not like arguing. Tell me your issue, then allow me time to mull it over. Thanks for helping me heal some of the scars!hug

I've tried to resolve things between us but there's just no reasoning with someone who always has to be right about everything.

As I'm sure you know that disagreements in relationships and friendships usually begin about the stupidest things that don't really amount to a hill of beans. And then negative words start flying around and then it becomes impossible to take those hurtful words back no matter how many times you may apologize cause they've already been said and the hurt feelings from either side still remains. I've got very tender feelings as it is and I've just chosen not to be hurt anymore.

When you can't resolve a disagreement within any kind of a realtionship you sometimes have no alternative but just remove yourself from it and just move on.

It's fun??? dunno
I didn't realize "we women" argued so much. Or is it if we actually stand up for ourselves, make valid points in the discussion that it dazes and confuses the men? cheers
Yeah, I'm sure that's it. grin
