Not the physical type of attractive human beings, but the stop that causes you to stop and appreciate the fact that beauty exists in many forms.

Have stopped to smell the roses? Have you noticed the beauty in your day? Share it with us so that we all may enjoy it with you.

*Note: this thread was inspired by hollandgirl's thread about Joshua Bell and hopefully is something new and different for discussion that "oldies" and "newbies" alike can participate in.

Oh wow! 30 minutes have passed-7 views and no replys. Either no one has seen anything worth sharing, this is another redundant thread or just not of interest. At least it's a bit different!

For me: I found beauty today in the joy of a friendship renewed. A friend I haven't seen in years contacted me via another forum area after she saw my profile. How great it was to chatwith her and realize old friends stay close in heart.

It is only 8:40AM here in AZ and I am still on my first pot of coffee.mumbling

I woke up instead of "coming to", I am above ground and sucking air. "TO ME", that is a beautiful thing..grin

The world is full of beauty and so many cannot open their eyes..sigh

Every day.......

I wake to the sounds of the village coming alive.......

the birds are out talking loudly to each other....

and as soon as I look from my bathroom I see the valley sprawling underneath me down to the beach with open sea and sky up to the horizon.....

Yes, I see beauty ever day......

yay

It takes a while to navigate the new formatuh oh

As for your post..I do it everyday with each action I take, with each interaction I have. I appreciate all that is around me, within me and in others....its a wonderful world.

The moment I woke, I raised my son out of bed, after I watched him sleep for a while. He lies so peacefully with gorgeous curly brown hair and ruby lips. I amazed with every moment I have with him.

Such wonderful things to experience! I agree with the "just waking up" comment! If we aren't able to do that, then we've found the alternative. laugh That's not so beautiful!

What a beautiful place you must live gozo. Sounds lovely, serene and peaceful. Very fulfilling I'm sure.

The beauty of a child is often beyond compare. To have the attitude you have is to be just right with your world! Lovely and very lucky to have.

If we have the eyes to see there is beauty all around us.
So often in little things.
Friends that show they care, a touching story send by someone, music.
Yes the clouds in the sky, the little feathered friends that come to eat.
Yes a lot of beauty and a heart that counts it's blessings.

I saw beauty today in the soft, white snow falling outside when I woke, turning the world here slowly into a winter wonderland. I hate the cold that comes with it, but the beauty of the snow reminds me of what I do like about this season. It's still falling, and I'm still seeing the beauty. wine

I see beauty in the moments I have on here with friends, and in the moments I sit in my living room with my dogs on my lap. And I see it in the times that I share with my sons.

Beauty is life, and life is beauty. wine

A few days ago, I was away for work, at a coastal town. After dinner, I stepped across to the jetty and it was close to sunset. There was beauty all around.

Watching seagulls take off in 'sideways' flight, being lifted by the wind, and seeing them swoop across the water and catch their prize. The water rippling to the shore. Then the sun sinking into the horizon and taking its deep blood orange colour with it. I couldn't stop smiling, and breathing in those moments of pure bliss.smitten

because I am new to the Las Vegas area, I find the mountains beautiful. I look out my bedroom window every morning and see Red Rock.

After living at sea level for the past 24 years, I am grateful for the change in scenery.cheers

I see beauty whenever I open my eyes. In the early morning I'm able to see the beautiful sunrises. In the evenings I get to see the beautiful sunsets. When the sky is clear I get to watch and count the stars which shine so bright and twinkle like diamonds.

I had a beautiful poem written for me today, by a very special person. Nothing that thoughtful has ever been written for me before! blushing happy place

Such great things to share allowing some of us the experience the joy you must have had.

I love looking around and feeling like I've never seen the sunrise, the moon and stars, birds singing and all of life around me.

The waning near full moon this morning was gorgeous.

Thanks for reminding me. I so forget to just stop and open my eyes. Hard to do in the daily traffic jams to and from the city.

Any time. Sometimes we all need gentle reminders to live life instead of muddling through it.
