Lilly, BW is a bit of a racist who views anything not of dark skin as not knowing what is going on. Forgive him but, his views are actually quite intellectual for his geo political propagandist location.

I can forgive BW for his political propaganda as I really don't give one hoot about his political views. He doesn't live in the U.S. . So he really doesn't have a clue as to the large amount of middle eastern and Indian/Pakistani immigrants that run our motels, convenience stores, taxis, gas stations. They do an honest job to make a living to support their families. And there is no problem with that. But BW's humor stinks and that is a fact!!
Some humor is necessasry in this day and age and Kansan has said it right on this thread. As a truckdriver, Kansan no doubt has seen much in his travels of the U.S., so he writes as he see it. It is not a serious thread.
Next BW will be saying that there are no caucasian/American jokes in his country so we are wrong to make any foreigner jokes in our country. However, there is plenty of America bashing done on these forums anyway in place of the outlawing of caucasian/American jokes in his country.

Yes, race is very important to you. And yours is the best I surmise given the way you bragged about your heritage and lack of Pepsi and fries consumption while you brought it to our attention that you are of the oldest civilization on earth. I'm very happy you are proud of your heritage however, am not happy that you assume where I have or have not been in my 52 years and, just assume that all people who are not you are white. I certainly am not assuming that you have never been to North America to check out it's culture nor am I assuming that you have never looked at my profile to see that I am Canadian and as such, have never nuked anybody much less had nuclear weapons since the sixties.

Point is, don't generalize. Know what you are talking about. Ok, here's the straight skinny: This same joke has been around, in one form or another, for more than 1,000 years. Whilst doing research on comedy and humor in various cultures/countries, I've seen at least fifty different translations of this same joke. American indians even had a version of it concerning the Indo-Europeans that "invaded" the North American Continent.

For every joke out there that makes some folks bust a gut laughing, there will be others who take offense to to it. The simple fact is that if humor weren't cruel, it wouldn't be humor. Even the most innocent joke or funny story is making light of or "poking fun at" someone/something.

The difference I've noticed over the years of telling jokes and writing comedy is that those who scream loudest when a joke/story is told about their particular race/nationality/skin color/football team/favorite brand of automobile, etc... are, themselves, the most short sighted, racist, least tolerant, most unforgiving, etc... These folks are also the same ones who laugh the loudest when the same joke or story is told about a different culture/losing team/favorite auto, etc...

Then of course, you also have those who simply are not happy unless they're pointing fingers at someone else. Like petulant children wanting a piece of candy because of the shiny wrapper, they won't hush until you ignore them. (Make the mistake of giving them the candy and they'll only whine for another piece in a different wrapper.)
