how young some are who come here?
looking for love, aged 18
looking for a longterm relationship, aged 19
OMG! you haven't lived yet!
What do you fear from living a little? finding out who you are, what you want from life?

- it's just so sad.

And who are you to tell us how to live in the era of technology?

Some of us, like myself, would like a long term relationship considering the circumstances of their lives. Dont be too quick to judge until you get to know us.

Not all woman wanna live life the way of the NZ woman by being rated as the most promiscuous... wine Having babies when they're still only babies themselves and sometimes not knowing who's the father...now that is sad... comfort

it's an observation, my opinion, not intended to offend.

You might think it's cool to have kids just for the fun or cause everyone else is doing it around you. But really that is so shallow...kids are a huge responsibility to have around and they look up to their parents to set the example...shocking to see/know how the kids around here(NZ) behave... drinking

Whoa there. That's pretty judgmental don't you think?
Many, many women of my generation married way too young - we were products of our conditioning. You can bet we certainly did not have kids for the fun of it. Like others, I'm lucky to have gotten out of it alive. And I AM serious about that.

I agree, today's kids are generally not so well behaved - lots of circumstances drive that - but they're not bad kids. Just a little lost.

My comment was, as I said in reply earlier, an observation. I find it sad that young people feel they need to be "in a relationship" to have any meaning to their lives. Perhaps that's just a reflection of their 'conditioning'.

Please don't get confused with me being factual rather than judgemental...the trend around here(NZ)is way off course...where did all the good values go? Yes kids are lost cause the parents are even more "at lost" and that's the reflection of the kids conditioning... sigh Scary thought = what are the kids kids gonna be like? Rather be in a meaningful relationship and learn from that than being in none at all and thus not "growing"...that's how they get life experience in the end of the day...

I was looking for that when I was that age. Just didn't find it then, and didn't have the internet as a tool to do so. But I entered every relationship where I was actually dating someone with the hope of it lasting. I was 19 when I got engaged for the first time. I got transferred, and while I was being faithful, found out from a friend of mine that he'd moved off-Post with someone. So much for Army romance.

I think a lot of it is the fact that younger people have lived with this computer age all their lives. It is what they are used to. We can't judge what others have already been through in their lives even at age 18, 19. JMO

what are you saying, everyone should be a whore for several years first???????

I understand that they are pretty young and maybe not know what they are really looking for yet, but neither do many 40 yr olds......

Here in the states we have an old radio newsman named Paul Harvey. He has an old saying, "An now you know the rest of the story".. Obviously you have not visited the states, at least not in many years. Kids here are having kids!!

It took a while, but I finally realized it is simply none of my damn business what others "choose" to do.. It has become obvious to me that there was a time in my life that "I" choose to be stupid and miserable. If others desire to make that choice, they are welcome to it. If they "choose" to find a way out, I may be able to help them..dunno

don't think that's what the Op meant, just times are different when i was 18 19yrs i wanted to have fun with friends and experience new things rather than settle down into a relationship. Times change i guess and with the internet they like dating sites dunno
