Everything? One of two reasons;

1. He has no ba**s

2. He doesn't know you well enough to start an arguement yet!

Perhaps you two have a lot in common, nothing wrong with that. On a funnier side....my mom always agreed that my dad had the last word in any discussion.... rolling on the floor laughing as long as the last words were "yes, dear".

Try telling him he is an asshole.....

and if he agrees to that......

well maybe then he is....

Maybe he's your lost fraternal twin brother?
Or your "soul mate"?
Or maybe what he's hearing is 'blah, blah, blah' and he automatically says "yes" or "I agree".

Or just an ass as the above poster suggested. Go ahead and tell him. This will also prove if he's actually paying attention.

Yes no doubt...can get frustrating....but on the other hand, it's just like meeting someone new at the pub........might be fine for the first meeting......but then you discover there's not much underneath once you scratched the surface.....

cool

PB,

....as any good lawyer would do, frame the question in such a way that he MUST give an opinion before he knows where you stand on it.....

e.g YOU: "You know, the issue of the "war, economy, abortion, womens rights, whatever --- you fill in the blank") has been pretty prominent in todays current events, what do you think about it?"

It works just as well, if not better, on abstract issues, where the position is arguable either way....like "whats your view on love, relationships, & committment?" If he asks you to refine or narrow the line of inquiry, then answer in the abstract as well ---- like "what do you see or what is your vision of a 'model or healthy' relationship, based upon love & committment?"

The key is to be vague & overbroad.....requiring him (assuming arguendo its a "him") to tighten his response, since you already know your position......

....read some of SexyAtty's posts --- she's very, very good at it.....its a technique called 'reframing', and can be done from either side of a position ---- like "is the glass half full" OR "is it half empty"? Either answer is arguably correct & on point.....its merely a matter of perspective......

Hope this helps.....have a great day.

I would be turned off and nervous about anyone who agreed with everything I say. Tells me they are less than sincere and have some other motive. JMHO
