Lagoona22: I think one needs perspective...my perception from what I read here is that the minority has success, which by default means that the majority of us end up either bored, or frustrated, or simply.... here....
Logic tells me the value of the following statements:
5 hours spent interfacing with people in the real world, is worth 5 days spent online...
5 days spent interacting with people in the real world, is worth more than 5 weeks chatting online..
1 date in the real world is worth more than 100 emails and flowers...
Flirting online is similair to masturbation...it can be fun, but it's narcissistic and insular in nature...
Fact of the matter is, it's easier to log on, than it is to interface with another human being..
and people are lazy, so we log on before we pick up a phone...
...but we need to remember, the real world is out there, not in ....here..
JMHO.
I tend to forget about the real world and the people in it when i log on here ,but dating in life is just as hard as dating from here .We all meet the village idiot at one point ,but at least here we can be rude with cute emoticons
