I tend to forget about the real world and the people in it when i log on here ,but dating in life is just as hard as dating from here .We all meet the village idiot at one point ,but at least here we can be rude with cute emoticons

I don't have any expectations for meeting anyone over the internet. As far as in my everyday life, yes I wonder why I haven't met anyone. For the most part i'm ok with that, but there are days I wonder what the crap is wrong with me!! But hopefully someone will come around, I won't settle! That's for darn sure! And i've watched too many 20 20 shows to meet people from off here lol

Like Lagoona said, it is easier to come here maybe with the slight chance of meeting someone. But RL is the better option and if you are one comfortable with real life situations, then more power to you!!

When I lived back east I carried on an online relationship for a couple of months with a gal from Texas. One day work sent me out there and sure enough she was a freakazoid. I've met some good girls online and some bad ones however, nowadays living in the middle of nowhere about fifty miles from a major city makes it extremely difficult to meet locals and, the tons of singles from the city may view me as too far away and, may think there is something wrong with me as one of the first things to come out in conversation is to wonder why I haven't been caught yet.

Locally, it's difficult to go out and become the talk of the town when you don't even know the girl, then have everybody ask me afterwords what is wrong with me (I mean, to them, she's a single girl and me a single guy so it has to be true love right?) so why didn't it work after the movie?

To tell the truth, if I lived in a city, I wouldn't even bother with the internet for anything.
