I can understand the purpose of having a favorites list... sorta... but what is the purpose of advertising how many you are on? Also, who the heck is crazy enough to put me on theirs?

you're cool but no I'm not putting you on mine.... As a matter of fact, I haven't put anyone on mine....

I think it is solely there to help others feel good about themselves(because someone likes them)?????
others may like them because have friends makes them feel important...dunno

I agree with tater. It's like my space (my daughter has one) and it seems like "the more friends you have the cooler you are." I would personally rather have a handfull of good friends than a shit load of so so's on a list. roll eyes

I have a few favourites because i like what they post in the forums and/or they are funny .I dont friend request as much as i fan or favour but i dont think its to do with how many see you ,i do it because i dont know them personally but iv read them on the forums enough to know i like how they are ............................it all made sense to me laugh

You can always remove yourself, if that bothers you...as said..I usually select someone for what they write....No need to feel paranoid about it.....
