well, unfortunately nothing much will be resolved since the occupations will continue, the settlements are still growing and Gaza will still be locked off.

That's correct, it would take introduction or inbreeding from another peaceful culture to see any changes in our lifetime.

I too have met Israelis in my travels and I wouldn't say they were too far from arristocratic and superior in the way they portrayed themselves . Maybe it was just the batch I met

I guess because Syria and Jordan are autocratic states who are not exactly our brothers.

but I still consider Israel a democracy with a people who are close to me.

of course, Human Rights are universal.

I've met a wide range of different Israeli.
some look down at Arabs, others are active in the peace movements there or work in Human Rights associations and try to defend the Palestinians' rights
