Wow this brings back some memories for me! I was up all night once with a few relatives, including a Cousin that was visiting. Keep in mind he only lives in the next county over. Well, the 5 of us stayed up all night drinking. At about 3AM, I realized I had to be at work in 3 hours!! So, my very drunk Cousin called my boss! With his very southern twang, proceeded to tell my boss that I wasn't coming in because he was from Australia (of all places) and wanted to visit with me!!

I went to work but I was totally waxed and don't remember that day.

For the record, that was ages ago, during my drinking days!

I can never remember them. I have three cases now in my life of drunken phone calls.

The first one, I don't even know who I called. That was about 20+ years ago, using the phone in the bar, at about 1 am. Nobody that I know has ever complained about that call, so god only knows who it was.

The other two are a bit more recent, and one at least went to VM. Both of these were to the same person. The other call to him was at 2 am, and all I remember is that he answered his phone. I have no clue what I said after I heard his voice, and how long he actually stayed on the phone to listen to my drunken rambling. And he's never told me, so I gave up asking him. It's good to have good friends that care enough about you, though, to call you the next day after that and make sure that you're okay.

But, it's part of why I don't drink any more, and why his number is no longer on my speed dial.

well while i was totally drunk i wrote a text to a girl saying her husband was hott, not me an blue vodka again.
