With this comment, I can see that your research and factual points are still, fundamentally wrong.

To put you on the right track, there are a few ways you, yourself can figure out that it is not flat, one of which is by simply observing a lunar eclipse and seeing the circular shadow of the earth as it move across the moon. Another is to watch a ship sail away and slowly sink below the horizon then, gradually appear as it returns safely as it did not fall of the edge, conversely, if you are on that boat, you watch the buildings on shore sink lower and lower and then, on your return, rise higher and higher. Yet another one is to simply observe that there are different time zones - on a flat earth it would all have to be the same time or, at the very least, have a twelve hour day in which it was either day or night but never in between. Yet another requires you to have some smarts as well as the ability to simply travel. You will find that no matter where you go, be it near the center or edge of your 'flat earth' the gravity is always the same and objects fall at the same speeds they do everywhere. A last way requires some travel as the constellations shift relative to the horizon when you go north and south, something only possible if your were on a sphere.

ocean78382: There are always people who will disagree with government policy.

I guarantee there are not near as many jews who protest this policy as there are Americans who protest Bush's war in Iraq.

Obama has it right - if someone shot rockets into my house - I'd do whatever I could to stop them.

Hamas is responsible for civilian deaths because they are cowards that hide under the civilians skirts - when they should come out and fight! ( so there can be more martyrs!)
If someone came to your home bulldozed it killed your family starved your country, cut off medical supplies what would you do? Some of these people have lost everything. When you lose everything then you have nothing to lose.

I agree Conrad. Judging from watching the You Tube video website(RayfromUSA posted it) of the Jews in Iran protesting the Israeli atrocities in Gaza, I couldn't help but realize that your statement "In someone else's house, freedom of speech is conditional to Rules by the Landlord" is very true. It is easy to see as I watched the eyes and manner of the Jewish Iranian man speaking.
Considering Iran's Jewish population is only 125,000 according to the video and Wiki's 2007 census of the Muslim population (the landlord) in Iran is 64,089,570, I'd say the right to dissent any views different from the Muslim majority would be deadly. They have free speech as long as it agrees with the landlord. I believe the entire Jewish population in Iran would cease to exist immediately if there was a community pro Israel protest by them. 125,000 people would vanish little by little and no one would notice as all eyes would be on Gaza still. Round up a few hundred at a time, they dissappear, and who is going to notice? Guarentee there will be no journalistic pictures of their dissappearance.
Since Iran is so ready to drop a nuke on Israel, it wouldn't make sense for any Iranian Jew to make a dissenting view against the Muslim majority and stir the pot up a bit.
So as an old saying goes, "When in Rome, ya better do as the Romans do."

Correction, I stated a double negative there. The Jewish population would cease to exist is correct. Immediately...no but over time....yes. That is more how it should read.

They have no free speech in Iran. They are terrified. When my ex's father tried to escape from Iran they first caught him at the Afghan border and threw him in jail. He then tried again in Turkey and was again jailed. All his properties and bank accounts were confiscated and his family was near starving until they finally were smuggled out. If they hate Jews so much, why not let them leave the country? Let Iran try and drop a nuke on Israel. They will retaliate and the world will jump in and there will be WWIII and all the fat lazy anti-semitics posting on here from their cushy homes will go too...
trish123 Lancashire, Lancashire, England UK
the last thing that I am is anti semitic - no way am I anti any race of peoples - my whole ethos is to live and let live - but if 'correct' behaviour comes across as anti semitic then I guess for this portion of time I must be thus - fortunatley, I do see the difference between zionism and jews - and I dont like zionism from what I have seen.......

The Swedish church health centre was bombed to nothing but dust by Israel. Good job, probably the Church of Sweden was planning something gruesome in there, helping giving birth to more Hamas supporters ... (Being sarcastic here, mind you)

Hamas have proven to be the most successful organisation ever in creating innocent martyrs; they do attract a lot of firepower at the moment.

Sad thing is that what Israel is doing now can be very much likened to what US did to Afghanistan after 9/11. Really.

So why would US oppose, they have strongly worked for the right of fighting terror elements away from home ever since, talking against Israel’s actions now would not make sense at all.

So, we can decide here and now, that it would not be in the best interest for US foreign policy to protest Israel’s choice of action.

Then, what does Israel hope to gain by doing this? Erase Hamas? They would not dare to engage in this warfare if it was not safe, and safe it would not be if Hamas had strong support from the countries in the region.

With how much did actually Hamas win the elections? Those are their political supporters; the rest wanted more or less a PLO like government.

Which of those two fractions have most support in the Arab world, who is the least "irritating" to them?

Israel do not count on physical US support for their actions, more likely are they assured by the neighbours that they have a certain leeway to go on as they do.

I will never like what is happening; I am completely and utterly against war where innocent ends up in the crosshair. No matter fraction, faith or colour of the sun. With me in that I think many more stands, and some of them belong to the Jewish faith. Of course they protest, like all of us. It does not answer why what is happing is happening, it only shows that we are first of all humans and everything comes second.

You know Mike, 68 pregnant women have presented themselves at the baricades of Gaza over the last couple of years or so - women needing medical aid to birth their children - 34 of those children were birthed dead and a good few of the mothers died too - the hospitals have no supplies but if any person is granted leave, it is pretty unlikely they will ever get back to their families........
