druidess6308: Actually, yes...whether they're aware of it or not. Our hormones flux, and menstruation occurs, based on the phases of the moon as well, which is why they were called "moon cycles" for centuries in many cultures. It affects men, too...again, aware of it or not. As humans we are mostly made of water, and the moon affects water and tides. Hence the "lunacy" that occurs so often at Full Moon as well.

You might not notice it as a change in sex drive, but more in a change of mood, and moods affect whether or not we have sex, as well as what type we desire at the moment. Not all of these fluxes are caused by the Moon, but many are caused by its pull.

I wonder if that is true.... Maybe I should take some time to visit you during a full moon on my next trip to Ireland this year? Just for research purposes, of course. angel

Acute: Does Full Moon Tilt Sex among Females. This thread purely relates to Females (Possessing Fertile quality) for views however, men may also make comments.

Hello Acute, I can't comment on the effect of full moon as such, but I understand that the moon does have an effect on women's menstrual cycles. I can't recall now, (kinda long agoroll eyes ), but I always knew when I was ovulating by the particular phase of the moon. Can't recall which phase offhand. Only is relevant for women not using the pill though.

A powerful thing, the moon.
Remember that it effects the tides, too.

People have traditionally planted according to the various phases of the moon, and it isn't just a case of it being superstition or mumbo jumbo. The Bureau of Meteorology publishes the Moon Calender, I think, also.

By being in close touch with Natural Forces, we can live in better synchrony with them. Certainly, the Chinese do this very well. Some of you might know of the Chinese Book of Changes, the
"I Ching". It is all about working with Nature's energies and the notion of change, and balance.

Interesting topic.
