We should be on our knees in Prayer! Everyone in the world should pray for PEACE... it's gonna get real ugly... to put it lightly.

Quite honestly I think that the American people have to let go of the decades of paranoia of being under attack and start seriously concentrating on rowing the boat together.......

particularly now that it's leaking form all sides.....

it's not the treat or communism, or weapons of mass destruction, or the unseen enemy lurking round every corner that is the real problem for the US......

it is the disregard to the down to earth human rights of it's own people that is.......

the right to free education

the right to free medication

the right for a roof over one's head

and the right to a daily meal on the table.

And the biggest warmonger ever, first declares that Afghanistan is the centre of terrorism, then spends billions attacking Iraq under a lie, and finally brings the economy down

History tells us that all empires cracked from within, and now this seems to be the case with the U.S.

Ok, I know you and others won't like my answer, but as it is, this is a free forum.

I lived 17 years in the US, went back to Germany July 2004 because I just knew that the elections will be turked so he would stay in office....

But my real question to your post is:

What are you Americans so damn proud of ????

That you all are the descendants of those misfits which the whole of Europe has tossed on a boat or two or three (hey, who is counting?!) to get rid of them and sent them over to the new world ???

I lived over there long enough and in different parts of the US to be able to form an honest opinion of you folks - and that is not a good one !

Yes, we Germans did lots of horrible things and so did the British, Romans, French, and the rest of the world....but look what y'all did - starting from the Native American Wars to invading Iraq, just to make a point here - and by the way: my grandfather died through a firing squad in concentration camp where he was held as a political prisoner because he helped many, many Jews and others who wanted to get out of Germany !!! And I am damn proud of him !!!!

But tell me: What homeland are you really proud of ? What is it the Americans really did on their own ????? You stole everything and everybody - just look at Oppenheimer, Wernher von Braun etc...
Oh, you don't know who they are ???? Well, Google Them !!!

I am sorry for your experience with the Americans you made contact with while here. You did not have the pleasure of meeting me, nor I you. Had we met, perhaps your perspective would have been better. I have read some of your posts on other threads and I like how you think. You are cute, too. I have nothing against you. My family came here from Germany, my grandpa, I always wanted to leave here and live there. There are over 300 Million Americans, please, all are not the same. Selfish people are everywhere, they ruin the world for everyone else. I am not one of them dear lady. I have never stated that I stand behind or condone the practices of the Bush Administration or the Administrations of past presidents in the last 45 years and perhaps longer than that.
