Bashing is not my way. I state my opinion, that is all. You just can't stand that there is someone out there who is of different opinion than you are. I even started in saying that a few of you would not like my take on this and therefore I have done nothing wrong.

Another thing: Please don't put up a controversial thread if you don't want other people to react to it. We are all individuals with different opinions and live in a free world. Therefore we all are allowed to state those.

#1. I did not ever say I was proud of what the leaders of this country have done. I did not say I was in agreement with invading other countries. I do not look down on you or others and I am very well educated. I did not vote for Bush.

I am an Independant, was a delegate for my state, representing Ron Paul. If you are educated in what he represents and believes in, then you will know where I stand politically, 100%.
Ron Paul wants the US to focus here at home, and stay out of other countries business. We believe in giving the government LESS power and returning the government back to the State and the people therein. Do not make pre-judicial conclusions about someone you know nothing about. Your perception is not reality.

It is evident that you do not know me at all, as you have accused me of voting for Bush Anyone who's been on CS anytime at all, knows where I stand on the issue of that Regime!

Excuse me... but my perception is damn right reality. I lived and worked in WA, TX, KS, NY, and SC.... so you see, I have met all types of Americans, (well-)educated or so-called educated, middle of the road, Republicans and Democrats, military and non-military and just plain and humble farmers and all other sorts of people (I am a translator/interpreter of profession for seven languages) so I have come across all sorts of Americans. And I can assure you: my perception is DAMN REAL.

Where are you comming from with all of this? Why do you think I disagree with you? I told you it is a great topic for a thread, very good points you make, but it does not adress the questions of the origional post. I want to stay on topic. I am not of a different opinion of you. I am not insulted at all. I am not pissed at your answers. I think you need to make a thread about it and we can comment there, not here. I would like to comment more on gozoman's responses, but I don't want to go in that direction with the thread. Ray gave the response I was looking for, when I posted this thread. I wanted to see if anyone else saw what I saw, you know, heard the message Bush was sending out. Ray got it! I do not aprove of the direction the government has taken this country and I have lots I can say regarding America, but I will not say it now, or here. Do not assume anything, when it comes to threads I post on CS. Others have done that before. I post for different reasons than most folks do, I always have an agenda, just not the most obvious one that most would think. Keep this in mind for future reference. Things are not always as they seem.

My best friend and I were in a steakhouse in SC being waited on by a male student - he studied history and geography and something else, he said - and he asked me what kind of accent I had. I told him it is German....

His answer: Oh yes, Germany, that is in South Africa, right

And he meant that perfectly earnest....

Silly... I am responding to your perception of me, you responses to me, here, on this thread. Your perception of ME is not reality! Don't get so offensive and calm down. Just wanted you to know that I am not like those others.

Did you do any translating for Ron Paul or any others from the Independant party? If you did, I could probably be described as being like those people. I am sure they would have treated you supurb!

Hey, even most Americans do not like ME, either! And I am kind to them and I love them. So don't feel so alone!

See, the type of people I don't like at all.... and I mean all over the whole world: someone who will say one thing and then turn around and say/do the oposite.... and ooze with false friendliness and compassion.

I am real, off- or online, always, never disrespect someone with being false. I am direct and to the point. If that is to honest for some people, oh well, that will be their problem, not mine.

A guarantee with shades of, if not a total duplicate of, the greatest commandment of Christianity, "Love God, your neighbor, as yourself." Let me give you my own take on what is coming.

You now have the first black president of the USA, congratulations. He was only allowed to be president for one reason. He will be used to further the goals of those seeking control of other countries.

Probably, within a very short time of taking office, he will be either assasinated, or an unsuccessful attempt made on his life. This will be done by your own people, and probably blamed on one or other terrorist organisation. This will rally the population and give yet another excuse to expand or carry on the "war on terrorism".
