Bo220: Spoken like a true politician. Let me try to decipher your comment? First, terrorism as a random act of violence. Didn't Bush attack the wrong country. Isn't Bin Laden in Afganistan? That seems as random an act of violence to me. Secondly, influence of political behavior. Isn't bush an oil tycoon and doesn't Iraq have lots of oil? Thirdly, who said taking on a governmental regime had to be done in uniform. Who's uniform...yours? Fourthly but not lastly, when did the United Nations sanction an attack on Iraq? If I remember correctly, bushs' plan was frowned upon by the U.N. Now lastly, have you ever heard of a run-on sentence or did you cut and paste your comment from the first bad political web page you found. Sorry you voted for bush but that was your mistake. Your comment is somewhat Shakespearean "full of sound and fury...signifying nothing".

I truly admire youwine

ragskuttle: The Mayflower arrived on the (now) US Continent in 1620. It became independant from the Europeans control in 1775. In that 100 years or so, thousands upon thousands of native americans were slaughted, their culture destroyed and their lands stolen. Its a question of What Goes Around, Comes Around. We humans never learn. We are greedy and arrogant and when we meet others that are greedy and arrogant we are shocked and horrified.

And this is exactly the point I was trying to make earlier - thanks for refining it, you are my hero wine

Thanks darlin'. Sometimes I say too much but I believe it is the truth. Bush has attacked America's economy and put our safety at risk. He has killed more Americans than any "so called" terrorist I can think of to protect his interests and that of his so-called "base".

It's too bad that foreign reporter missed Bush with his shoes.

gozoman2: I tend to disagree on this one Conrad......

first of all hate is a big word.....

I grew up under the impression that the US was the stalwart bastion of democracy and freedom....

To a large extent, I still believe it is......it is the cauldron that represent very nearly all humanity.....the people living in the US are in effect, a sampling of all tribes, cultures, religions and other diversification of the human race that exist on this planet.

Over the years however, I have seen the corruption, greed, and overdose of power that seems to have taken over the leadership of your nation.

It is therefore not hatred that I profess towards the US, but anger.

Anger at having such a great nation, allow itself to vote in power such assholes as we have seen for nearly quarter of a century.

For what that is worth....my innermost thoughts...

I couldn't agree more nor said it any better gozo
thumbs up thumbs up thumbs up

Shrub's last press conference? daydream Oh, he was a nasty self congratulating f*cker, wasn't he?daydream

gozoman2: And with all due respect to everyone's beliefs, but I seriously don't think any form of divine intervention is going to sort out your problems in the US....

Obama might, if he is given a chance to prove himself....

Agreed thumbs up where was divine intervention the last 8 years while this nation was corkscrewing into the ground and Bush proclaimed that GOD was speaking through him dunno

Obama might, but then again he also talks in circles around issues; he's just better at persuasion.

I just hope the change he speaks of isn't spare change from a stranger beer close as I could come to a beggar emo confused

gozoman2: A parting shot before bed.....

Bush has been lying for the past eight years......

so why should anybody believe him now in his last days (Thank God) in the seat of power?

Bless all...and may whichever God you believe in provide you with peace and happiness..

Absolutely handshake I think there's a number of people in this country that just want to fight help the world

And now yawn I'm going back to sleep

Bo220: In just a few more days the biggest terroristic threat America has to fear will be out of office. America could regain worldwide confidence and respect if we were to cage him and mail him to Afganistan or Iraq. That wannabe man has no shame.

I disagree on both points.

Divine intervention is the ONLY thing that can save this planet.
Without it we are far past the point of no return.

But it's a mistake to think that divine intervention "prevents" bad things from happening.
That would mean that people have no free will.
But in the end good will win out.

The millstones of divine justice grind very slowly, but they eventually get every single grain.

Be patient, it's coming.

As for Obama.

He's Dick Cheny's first cousin.
Both are CFR members.
Cheney was chairman of the CFR.
Obama is about to be President of the US.
Don't be fooled by Obama's "liberal" image.
The CFR wants a totalitarian world government controlled by bankers.
And they will have it (at least temporarily).
In France, Francois Mitterand took office as a liberal but then turned out to be practically a nazi in disguise.
He ruled as a virtual dictator.
Obama has a similar hidden agenda.

I can understand why the rest of the world blames bush... they had no choice when he was voted into office.

Now Americans are as guilty as they seem to think Bush is, because they didn't do enough to get the other guy elected. Obama won hands down. where were these people when Bush ran for office? Americans can't blame Bush, because he did what he said he was going to do. Y'all only need to blame yourselves. I am guilty for I have failed my country. Now y'all need to take the blame too rather than spending your days whining.

TroyBoy: PM~ The very same document you quote from also calls for a House & Senate --- how do you harmonize or reconcile that?

.....I think Jimmy Carter was an HONEST man, with integrity, but a poor President......but you do make a good point.....so how would you a) stop the lying & b) make your vote count? Of anybody, I do understand your frustration.....

I lived over there for 17 years, have seen the candidacy of Shrub jr. (he already had pissed off the Chinese at the time - even long before he was in office) and warned my friends not to vote for this guy. Well, didn't do any good, they were ALL gung-ho ...

... then they were getting ready to vote him again - I lived in SC at the time and so frustrated at the media and that the ignorants believed them - so I did the only thing I could: I sold my house, my business and went home to Germany.

I had this way out - but what of those Americans who have not voted that idiot and had no way out ? Got to be compassionate with them; it is not their fault that this numbnut rigged the elections once again....
