Which rock you say did you crawl out from under ????

Actually I'm still under my rock and I'm comfortable here.
It's the only safe place to be right now.
There's lots of us under here.
You should come join us.

But, whatever, suit yourself.

It is not so much that we did not want Bush to die a Martyr...
More that we would be under rule of Cheney which would be even more disastrous!!!

Would Cheney and Bush both be on that helicopter???

Even if they were, you can bet the next in line would be more of the same ilk.

And don't think Obama will be any better.

Remeber it was a Diebold election.
Including every promary along the way.

Just a stage managed dialectic intended to rally support for the globalist agenda.

zeelanderer: I can understand why the rest of the world blames bush... they had no choice when he was voted into office.

Now Americans are as guilty as they seem to think Bush is, because they didn't do enough to get the other guy elected. Obama won hands down. where were these people when Bush ran for office? Americans can't blame Bush, because he did what he said he was going to do. Y'all only need to blame yourselves. I am guilty for I have failed my country. Now y'all need to take the blame too rather than spending your days whining.

Sorry dude...I did my part and did not vote for Bush in either election. He was such a terrible President the first time around that he and his brother Jeb had to steal the second election. Remember the Florida ballot scandal. Since then lots of Americans have lost faith in the voting process. I just hope Obama can restore the people's faith in America. This is a great nation and a great opportunity for Obama. I am certain he will make his mark in history. Why...you ask? Because, from the bottom, the only way is up. As for the whining...ask the hundreds of thousands of people without jobs to quit whining. What about the people whom have lost their homes and now find themselves homeless with children in tow. Bush gave companies tax breaks for shipping their work overseas. I don't know what you do for a living but if you are working consider yourself lucky for your job could have been next. I can understand you feeling a certain degree of guilt, unless you voted for bush.confused

I am fortunate to have a job. Although I am starting all over again due to a recent divorce. I do consider myself fortunate. I just hate to see people suffer; especially families.

I am confident things will get better but no one can tell for certain. However, people often say that I am a survivor and I have to agree. I have very few needs and am just as comfortable hunting and fishing to survive if necessary. Lets hope it does not come to that.

An afternoon's mental freewheeling exercise.....

First of all, to RayUS......living in trepidation of being simple objects in the hands of some obscure conspirator or group of out to control me and my life is not my cup of tea.

Having more prophets of doom speaking of the darkness about to enfold humanity is certainly not going to solve any problems.

As for the US in general, one word that has been drummed relentlessly, and yet continuously abused in the States and by the States on a global level is DEMOCRACY.

Democracy is participation. Of each and every one of us who are involved.

True, we are but a tiny piece of rock in the middle of nowhere with no say in world affairs. But when we vote for a government to run our affairs for the following five years, there is normally a turn out of approximately 96% of all eligible voters.

And if that government does things that go against the Constitution or against the general good of the country, people tend to take to the streets and make their voices heard and felt.

It is your right to do so. But unfortunately it seems that the people of the United States are too confined in their own universe to even know what is going on. More foreigners seem to know what is going on in world politics then US people do.

It is time to understand that you have been abused over and over again. And it is time for you to take charge of your country and get it back on line.

Conspiracies or no conspiracies.

Good luck.

HealthyLiving: I believe that "Homeland" definitely includes all of the entities you have listed, but I believe Bush's reference was in regards to events such as 9/11.

Would you be willing to trade your Freedom for Security? Many will willingly do so, without considering the cost or effectiveness.

Do our votes really count? 93% of the American people said "NO" to the bailouts, yet our representatives voted "Yes", as they believe they "know what's BEST for US!!!!" Trust THEM???

You make good points considering our country in peril of attack, however I believe the motives for attack on our nation to be influenced through other sources with specific reasonings planned out long ago.

Your last paragraph... So right on!!!

Appreciate your response fireliter!

Absolutely Gozo thumbs up

In America democracy is but a fond memory and most must have alzheimers; they know not what they're missing and screwing up for their children.

I ran into the same problem as a union leader; every idiot that thought they'd been wronged wanted the union to do something while they drink beer instead of attending meetings. Can't grasp the concept that the union without U is nion.

Just like the rest of the citizens of the 'states', as you call them, hardly 'united' anymore; are p*ssing away the chance to really change anything. As a teen in the 60's I protested in the streets against the war and today as an old man, I risk being arrested, just for showing up.

Young people in particular need to get off their a**es; however many in this country couldn't find their a** with both handsdoh

I was serious about sending the Shrub our old shoes; at least we can't get arrested for that.

Now where's that fist emo you were talking about Conrad
