Unfortuantely for me my mother's since passed on. But I was will say I was never afraid to tell my mother anything.It never did me to much good not to tell her cause sooner or if not later she found out anyway. Well at least some of the time.

I would not tell her anything about myself.
I learned that she will pretend to listen to me, be seemingly supportive and understanding, and after all of the information is leeched out.. it will be used against me and I end up frustrated, angry, and all rustled up for nothing. But I still love my mom.

I have not had a relationship with my mother, since I was 8 years old.

But as a mother, I have always ensured that my children will tell me only what they want to, they are responsible for their own thoughts and words, if they want to share that with ne then I am all ears.

However, if I catch my son drinking milk straight from the container, he is in big trouble.
