I've absolutely NO idea!!! I have asked myself that often. I am not attracted to jerks, I am with MyLifeWithU on this one. They are clearly good liars and can carry off a "nice guy" persona if they feel so inclined.

What I don't understand is.... if you can successfully pretend at being a nice person, you can actually BE a nice person... much easier, surely??!! All this pretence seems like much harder work?? They should just be what they are pretending?!

Just don't get it, other than its manipulative and they usually use manipulative skills to compensate for not being able to get by on looks, wit, personality, intellect, etc. What they simply don't realise is that it speaks volumes about it deriving from their own insecurities and inadequacies and that others can deduce that. Shows that they're not very bright either then, eh?!

just an observation,,I look for the same in a woman,,we want someone with an edge ,,but would like moderation in all those wonderful endearing character flaws ( jus sayin' )

Well, you shouldn't be too nice. The women are either seeing a shrink or they like the idea of pain with love. Sick yes,, but take your time. Let them pursue you sometimes. U would be surprised how that works sometimes.
