seekndestroy: sorry to break it to you but pain is a warning system that requires a brain to process info and a nervous system to transmit said info

plants no have brain nor nerves....thus plant no have pain !!!!

Every living thing has a spirit, minerals, plants, insects, animals, etc.
I'm Blood type O, and I choose not need to eat animals. You are either spiritually aware or your not.I always believe its simple, live close to nature, eat what's natural,Life's not complicated then, the further you get away from nature, the more complicated and confused you become. The truth is with in you,by getting in touch with your own spirituallity peace

I was a veggie for years, not because I was particularly opposed to eating animals, I just didn't agree with the mass farming and slaughter methods. An animal should have some dignity in life and if it's to be killed it should be given a fair chance at trying to escape first, failing that it should be killed as quickly and respectfully as possible. Even when I was veggie I'd still eat meat our dogs brought down cos as my mum said - it had a fair chance at life, and blew it. Maybe a weird view to many but worked for me.

Well...when I became pregnant I wanted to make sure my baby got the best possible start in life by my having a really healthy diet including lots of fish so I started eating meat again...just never went back to being veggie after.

I reckon it's just what ever turns you on really. life is all about tolerance wouldn't you agree? I really don't give a rats arse what you all eat as long as i get to choose what i eat or don't. I do think considering the atrocious state of the meat industry you'd be better off raising and slaughtering it yourself if you have to eat it or at least buying from someone who is local and is a relatively small scale farmer. Better for the enviroment if you cut down on consuming cows - less methane in the air less area needed for grazing. And to all those people who think they were designed to eat meat well there never were any cows is australia (wtf do cows come from anyway?)frustrated But as i said i don't give a rats arse.... cheering cheering cheering
