Yes, and I understand that. I love the posts of the friends, it makes us all feel welcome. I have noticed it is hard to join the forums with out knowing all the players. I have had a few emails from some of the posters and they have welcomed me.teddybear

Da10th: Anything like Ewok Village?


Not as many Ewoks here. And no C3PO! They are Douglas Fir trees, not Redwoods native to here. But, I planted some Coastal Redwoods that are growing like a Saturn 5 rocket's initial take-off! The biggest, strongest and most vigorous grows near the gate, where you come in. Will support a platform now... just made the construction list!

Just like the Ewoks did, we work with the trees here, like symbiosis.

And! I've been to Redding, many times. Am likely going to Sweden this June. Get to Mexico and San Luis Obispo quite often, Cuba too!! Traveled all over Europe. From Amsterdam to Korfu!

I live in Nebraska. I did finally meet my best friend.
He is from Australia and we have been corresponding
for quite sometime. He came to visit when I was still
with Nick. As we had talked on the phone many times
before his visit I feel as though I already knew him.
When he stepped off that bus and we hugged for the first
time we both said, you are exactly what I pictured.
The 3 of us had a great 2 weeks together.

lovestrees: Ok, here it is. Open invitation to any world travelers that might get near Seattle. You can stay here, I have plenty of rooms. May have to open some sort of hostel, have great campsites for Summer. Tree house anyone?

despite what some would say about not being
real, the friendships that are made online can
be very real and you end up caring very much
for them.

I have only met one from this site but have
spoken on the phone to others and it is quite
amazing.

But like you, I need people close enough to go
out with or visit with.

yep.. I have been lucky enough to meet quite a few people from here.. AND! have become friends with many of THEIR friends I met at the time too.. so thats been a great bonus for me.
