Thanks WindRider, my point was not to critisize anyone or any nation. Its a world of globalization. Certain nations worked hard , had good circumstances and they are doing very good now. They are able to provide the kind of environment where everyone can grow. As most foreingers are greatful to america, americans should also be grateful to us instead of acting like small kids. Well we did this , we did that, we own that. I wrote my comments in response to some morons who always say - its my country go back if you dont bow down to me.
They dont seem to comprehend how world economy works. USA cannot be what it is without the "help" of other countries. It cannot survive without other countries, it needs to coexist and all nations are equally important.
Imaging oil exports are stopped, what will happen to your economy. The most expensive thing in keeping a military going is oil. If you take out oil your military wont move. So many nations buy arms from usa, they account for big billions of dollars contracts. The foreign students who come here for their BS pay very high fees. Those fees reduce the dependence of the state schools on the already weak state finances and allow more poor american students to get their degrees. Almost all the stuff sold in usa, is made in some other country. What is all those foreigners stop working. What if those items were made in usa itself. Imagine what would be the costs of the items would be. And that same effect would bring down the salaries, and standard of living here. US is a awesome amazing nation but it does depend on other nations just as everyone else does. So for all thore morons who get defensive about their country just be humble and not be arrogant. No one is critising it they only want to know their opinion.
I have heard numerous times when I say something a particular thing in usa. The immediate response I get back is well if you dont like it leave. But that just shows the level of education people have. By education I mean not just academic.
