I love being able to get out and have any type of landscape I want in a matter of hours. Planes, forested mountains or deserts. I love that I can get out and hike, bike or ride motorcycles pretty much year round.

I like that the weather's usually pretty good and it's so close to Vegas on one side and Albuquerque on the other. Four deserts makes for a variety of landscapes and a couple Interstate Highways make it convenient to see more.

I love being able to:

1) Drive highways without the additional 3 hour added trip time "parking lot" experience.

2) Walk down the street without feeling like fodder or victim.

3) Park almost anywhere.

4) Ride lightrail without the "sardine" or "masher" experience.

5) Swim, bike, hike year round.

6) Drive to NM, California, Mexico and be in beach, mountains, another country, in about 6 hours.
