Some background, I am posting this to the AZ forum first because I live in AZ (more likely to actually meet and find someone)and secondly the AZ forum gets so little attention. I was married for 30 years to the same women so I'm apparently outta touch with what a normal nowadays date/girl friend/relationship is. so here we go.

I honestly want to know what women that are interested in an LTR look for?
It seems like a lot of people want to text, talk, but when it’s time to meet, it doesn't happen. (maybe it's just me)
What is the proper and classy way for a man to flirt if he is interested in a woman?
When is it okay to approach you women? What do you prefer to hear when a man comes up to you?
When should he ask you out, or ask for your number?
How can a man tell if you are flirting, or just being polite?
What do you women want? Seriously? I don't have a clue.
Can someone please help me out here?

No responses, wow. Well as with men i would think, each woman and her wants & needs is different. I say just be you and if that doesn't work, you're with the wrong person. Best of luck to you, and to everyone else that is on this journey...

I am a woman and I feel the same way. Would like to know what are AZ men really want? Someone wrote below:
"....each woman and her wants & needs is different. I say just be you and if that doesn't work, you're with the wrong person." I agree. I would say, read profiles carefully. I mean read profiles without contacting anyone for some time. You will get a better idea who people are and what they really looking for. Soon, you will be able to see their values. I, personally, am interested to find a man with similar to mine mindset, values, and goals. It is not easy.
What knocks me off is how easy men come up with their personal information for me to contact them or asking me to contact them? Who in the right mind will share personal information like phone numbers, emails addresses with a person you know nothing about? And they do not even read profiles, because I stated clearly in my profile asking not to offer me phone numbers, etc. A man who does not even read your profile... what does it tell me? Do you know how many out there picture collectors, email collectors, etc.? After they get this information they disappear. What they do with your information - think about it.
If you have serious intentions, maybe you should look for her at the gym or anywhere else because men admitted that a lot of women on free sites are looking just for fun and one night stand. So, because of that those who look for something more meaningful get frustrated. And the women say something like: well, we do what men do. So, no one to blame. Equality in attitude prevails.
Why do you need to flirt? Maybe she does not like those who flirt.
Just be who you are. You will feel better. In my opinion, a man should ask for a phone number if there is mutual attraction, but not after the first date. What do women want should be in their profiles. If it is not clear then, I think, she does not know what she wants. See if interests are the same. Just my 5 cents.

It depends on the woman and what stage of life she'said in. Fifteen years ago I was looking to possibly remarry today I'm not. I've had two LTE in the last 16 yrs but it never worked for a lasting partnership. I retired two years ago and moved from CA to southern Utah and looking to meet people for friendship and activities. I look really young for my age so in the past felt comfortable dating younger men. What I look forward and find attractive is a professional man who is college educated, refined, good manners. I like tall men over 6' tall and fit looking. I like Blue or Green eyes and light olive complexion. A great sense of style and loves fine dining, wine, travel. A proper gentleman who both adores and respects a women. Haven't found this elusive creature yet lol..

We are all different in what we want. Connection or spark seems to be something men and women have in common, chemistry. Just a thought.
