Sounds like you might suffer from very bad condition might want to see a doctor about that.

Usually if you hear a man say something and do the opposite, its very likely that you only heard what you wanted to and were not really listening to what was said.

I thought of an example... So I dated a woman once who continually would ask me if I was sure I really wanted to date her. (note to self: can't fix self confidence issues)
Anyhow...

I started out wanting to date her, and told her that. However, after the 9th time she asked me if I was sure... I wasn't sure anymore. How could I have confidence in a woman who didn't have confidence in herself?

Long story short, its just another way you learn what you're looking for.
