Yes, we have the two largest Casinos in the world right in our back yard. All year long (except summer July and August) the Mohegan Sun Wolf Den has dancing 4 nights a week. I go Tuesdays (country) and Thursdays (R&B). Come on down.
If you're looking for something different this weekend. go to Schemitzun, the Mashantucket Pequot Pow Wow [Celebration of Green Corn and Dance]. It is Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Miner Farm on Wintechaug Hill Road in North Stonington. Bus transportation from Foxwoods is available or you can drive directly there. There is great Native food, Bull Riding, a Native Village, booths with great jewelry and art, and tons of dancing, drumming and great native costumes.
