When I was single, I used to frequent the singles dances that were happening throughout CT. I used to find the locations listed in the Hartford Advocate. It's been a long time but there may be some dances still going on. I know a coworker that gos to Illusions, the Country Western club in Wolcott and she told me that they had a singles night happening there at one time.

If you go early you can pay for the buffet and eat before the dance and sit and meet other singles. The music is the best with several dance floors.

There are plenty of places to meet singles in CT if you make an effort. I am not the bar type and would rather go dancing. I hate standing or sitting for long hours just bending my elbow, boring.
Please let me know how you make-out and where are the places to go now a days so I can go when the chains that bind me are released.
