I'd probably zone 1/2 of it to not be touched in like.... forever ... it would be nice to keep some of nature still intact, despite the developers' greed....

Of the other 1/2, I'd probably convert 1/2 of that, to low income housing, but it wouldn't be a permenant living place... it would be a place for those people to find other ways of making an income, then what isn't working for them now.

The last 1/4? Why, for me of course :) nice house, maybe a runway to launch and land aircraft ( I still want to learn how to fly )...

Oh yeah Chevy I really Would like a mud-bog on the road frontage with a large surf pool/skate park/moto x park behind it.The rest would become a game ranch with deer and hog hunting.My cabin would be in the back where I could have all the critters I wanted.I really like the air strip idea, then I could travel to all the exotic surf locals I wanted right from home.

Lets see....I'd start by building a guesthouse to live in while I'm building my dream home dead in the middle of all this acerage. Then I'd invite every friend I've ever had (providing they still live) and get opinions about the layout. Once that's done I'd surround myself with serious friends and family to make it happen. There'd be steaks on the grill and many thanks to all for the advice and help constructing the dream, then everyone helping gets a key and can use accordingly..... Do you think you ever own anything? I would gather up every stray dog & cat I see wandering out there homeless and hungry, seperate the areas by large protective sections, and let them live out they're lives in an open air, safe place for them. Including a fulltime Vet for they're longterm health & care.

To make it work I would pester every single company, grant program & use whatever means possible. If Exxon can get a $20 billion tax write off then surely there's a fortune 500 company looking for they're ways to write off some of they're Billions too.

i would put it where there is the MOST amount of endangered species and rainforest region and bulldoze EVERYTHING... then i would just burn shit aaaaaaaaaaall day long... i would charge people to bring some plastic in and just set fire to EVERYTHING THEY WANT. all at once! then have cock fights, (it would be in africa - somewhere rain-foresty...), and then when im all done with that, i would take all that money i got from doing that and build a factory that doesnt have a regulation on smog!!! but a factory that produces shit that we need to survive and nobody can do without... like AIR!!! so i would take my air factory and be polluting like crazy! and nobody can say anything about it because in making air even though there are pollutants, i would add more air to our atmosphere and dilute them worldwide... so entire laws would have to be changed and added to a 'WORLD CONSTITUTION' for me to be stopped... and that is impossible because the world isnt run by a central government... just enforced with their laws... like the U.N.

I'd definatly setup a wildlife preserve. I'd build a log cabin with no modern anything and I would use it to write my angry letters to the government....


Really though if the land were in good enough shape I would convert it to nothing but a preserve. I would use eco-friendly vehincles (we have Hydrogen trucks in Ocala now) and to suppliment the cost of running the land I would offer tours and camping. I would NOT allow hunting or anything like that and, beyond a certain point, no gas powered vehicles.

On the very back side of the land I would probably build a modest research facility.


Hell, when was the last time any of us even SAW 1000 acres of undeveloped land? It's almost a law that you be required to open up a Wal-Mart there.
